My arm feels like mush. I wrecked rolling in on my ramp today. I guess I need to practice more.

Just talked with Harvey...
Springs dudes... I just got off the phone with Harvey. He's doing great. He is stationed up in Mosul sweating it out in 110*+ temps. We're gonna get him back in october for a couple weeks of what they call R&R. I hope they know that means riding and ripping out here. We're getting a care package together for him and the boys. If you would like to pass anything on to him, ask and I can tell you how. Harvey, we miss you... You and the boys keep KICKIN' ASS!!!

Clay PusherBMX Brown called me this afternoon to let me know that he would be going into surgery in the next hour to get a rod placed into his femur. WHAT??? If that's not crazy enough, it was on an icepick. Not good news to hear today. Get well buddy. Hope this doesn't turn out to be a trend.

Harrington down but not out!!!
Josh took a pretty good fall Sunday. Jacked up his nasal cavity and broke his cheek bone. Earned a few stitches above his eye and lip. Darden took him home today and Josh will rest till he sees a specialist that can put him back together. He's all good though. He is a machine! Give him a minute to recoop and he'll be back to killin' it. One thing for sure, when his vid drops, it is gonna have some seriously knarley footage in it!

Bonner video...
This video was sent to me via vitalbmx member sunfallco. They have a clothing company based in Golden/Denver, Colorado. Cool bunch of kids. Their team is compiled of some of the best young guns of Colorado as well as Troy Merkle of Dayton. Nick has just been added to their roster of shredders. This is some mild footage of the technical skills that Nick possesses. Nick is a real life video game, and we can't turn him off!!!

Tony Hawk bikes... What a JOKE!!!
From the same guy who is against bikes in skateparks, we now have him tryng to sell low end bikes to those very kids. That's shameless. Go wax your copers, bro. Anyone promoting such a company is a smuck too. After failing at redefining the REDLINE program, sounds like you make a great addition that might just help to sink this ship. Seems like you should either go skate or move onto your "stunt" work and quit trying to fool people into buying this garbage so that you can profit from a quick buck. Anti-bike bike company... funny!!!

Jam / FREE bar-b-que this Saturday, May 12
A jam / free bar-b-que is being put on by the town of Longmont. I think it's a town. It is very important to get as many shredders up there as possible due to the fact that someone has convinced them that it would be a great idea to pass a schedule similar to that of Boulder. My guess would be some old school skater that is pissed at life and seems to think that this is his own personal park or some parent that thinks the skatepark is a great place to drop off their unsupervised children for an all day free day care. Meaning that they are wanting to limit bike times from sun up to something like 11 a.m. So it is ever so important to get up there and "voice" your opinion and let them know that this is unfair and that we do not agree with this proposal. So get your buds together and head on up sometime around 9 - 10 a.m. I'm sure we'll be there all day once we make it there. If you need directions, send me a message. I will get back a.s.a.p. Let's try to make this representation of our sport huge. This affects everyone. It is important that we get as many people up there as possible and represent. That is something that did not happen at Boulder and you see where that has led us to. Let's not let this happen again. -

Colorado Springs Skatepark Update...
Just got home from another Park and Rec Council Board meeting. Everybody seems to be pretty stoked on the whole skatepark project. We are on our way to raising the rest of the money needed to complete our goal. We now have Colorado Springs Skatepark bracelets up for sale at $3.00 a pop. The t-shirts should be in shortly. We have the bar-b-ques scheduled for once a month, upcoming demos, contests and a bunch of other cool stuff planned. So things are looking really good. If anyone wants to get involved or has any ideas, shoot me an e-mail. We would love for you to get you involved!!! And thank you to all the riders out there world wide that had sent information and helpful ideas. I really appreciate it, and thank you for helping to make this truly a community park. -
