Plastic pedals last forever even doing pedal grinds. I just spray paint one side to mark it. Loved this. It dosen't tear up your stuff, you just have to have good stuff like shadow chain tree spline drive sprocket any plastic pedals. I run primo animal or fly PC pedals. Even with Ti spindle no problem three years same sprocket pedals 6 months to year and same for the chain just due to stretch more than anything.
