It could be that your brake mounts are uneven and are causing the problem, the easiest way would be to see which side is touching the other first and adjust that brass pivot by using a tube spacer with a vice/press and going either up or down on the ... more »

Yeah pretty much. Plus turning with such a large surface will make it less responsive.

Check hub and bb bearings, make sure the bb spacer is installed and is the correct size if you haven't already. Make sure all metal on metal contact are greased. Check driver teeth/pawl and bearings. Check chain alignment.

If anyone want's to remove paint from their knurling, use a wire wheel or brush, it comes is a few different styles, much quicker, easier and safer for the knurling.

There is one other way you could do it, it might look really stupid but it could work if you really dont care about the looks, what you can do is put your gyro plate on top of your stem. All you'd need to do is screw in all the barrel adjusters and see ... more »

It can still be good but keep in mind it won't be as strong, it really will depend on the way and kind of riding you do that will make the difference. Since you are new, you can't really go wrong as it will be a learning frame. Gotta start somewhere. ... more »
