If your wanting to do it on a ramp, try it on a small roller something your comfortable with then work up from there. Can only get better.
Oh cool, well then you are pretty much good to go then ! Firstly it's being familiar with the box, I'd suggest just jumping it normally and if you can keep doing to till you get a good feel for that box than it's pretty much just speed and hopping to ... more »
Sweet, will be keen to see it when you get it done.
It's all good man, glad it worked out for you in the end.
Good choice, what's your geo going to be like if you don't mind me asking ?
That's looking pretty damn good so far, good stuff man, keep it up !
It's got a lot to do with pumping the transitions/ speed and bunny hopping. Practice all 3 and then once your comfortable with that you can go to the box and start slow and low and build up from there, if your looking for more in depth on those 3 there ... more »
You need to go through and tension up your spokes and the noise will stop along with straightening up your rim/wheel provided it's done correctly, if you can't do it yourself take it to your local and have them do it for you and ask if you can watch ... more »
Does anyone remember the gold finger lever ? http://velobox.ru/CATALOG/BMX/19/DIATECH/gf.jpg
Only thing is they have terrible lever wobble. Still a nice lever though other than that, I bought one but don't use it just because of that, I'm super picky when it comes to brake performance.
Parts list is a bit lacking for a $1500 dollar bike, it's going to be $1500 over here in AUS. But still pretty cool what they are doing to help out the Mirra family. I'd like to know the geometry on the frame, interesting.
If it's sealed and you don't have any problems with it, keep using it until a problem arises, BB and Headsets are the least of your worries in terms of upgrading as there pretty much all the same aside from the size and type 19mm-22mm, Span or Mid etc ... more »
If running brakes Odyssey F25's, no brakes R25's, OG fork feel R32.
Nope 21" would not be too large, you'll be fine.
I miss the old Macneil if anyone remembers, they had some cool shit.
Easiest way, but be careful, use the bottom of a seat post, pop a cm of the grip with the flange part you want to cut on there and slowly go around with a box cutter etc. Keeps the grip from folding in and gets a real clean cut. You could use your bars, ... more »
Worked on setup and modded more brakes systems than you can care to imagine. Look at the photo, his barrel adjusters weren't long enough to pick up the slack from the cables because of the spacing between the gyro and plate from steerer tube length being ... more »
It has nothing to do with the length of his cables, the cable he currently has in the photo is long enough to reach in fact it's too long, the reason is because of the space between his gyro plate and gyro = too small, he doesn't have enough room for ... more »
His steerer was shorter than normal, which means the gap between the gyro plate and gyro were too close thus, his cables/brake weren't going to function correctly, it's got nothing to do with buying a new upper M2 cable, that would solve nothing.
