Reply to Oversized System - New Standard? or a nightmare 6/1/2017 1:12 AM

I don't think you can label someone for being stupid for buying the wrong size, it happens all the time and we see it a lot in the shop I work at. The issue is there needs to be a shim so in the event you fail to order the correct size, you can use a ... more »

New thread Oversized System - New Standard? or a nightmare 5/26/2017 2:54 AM

So we've just got a batch of new Oversized stems and handlebars in at the shop and all though I think the idea is good and innovation is needed (despite 1" stem's being in other cycle sports for a long time). Is now the right time? What do you guys think? ... more »

Completely agree with you on American made pricing, but that's one of the drawbacks of purchasing an American made frame here in the UK, The trade price is identical to a Taiwan made frame. What is it you like so much about the FBM products?

Wow, feel like I haven't posted here in a long time. I've been in lurk mode. So I'll get straight to it. If you could make one change in regards to BMX parts/products what would it be? This can include price, sizing, colours, geometry, availability etc. ... more »

Reply to The Promotion of Drug Use in BMX 4/9/2015 7:34 AM

So many people in this thread are taking this subject to heart and getting butt hurt because of their personal experiences. Marketing kids to drugs (legal or illegal) is immoral and wrong. Regardless if you do it or not, you are marketing to children. ... more »

I'm super glad someone else agrees with me on Instagram ruining the surprise on videos. Do you encourage your team riders to hold back in that sense with social media to help build hype and encourage people to watch full videos?

It's a case of choosing standover height, bottom bracket height, head tube angle, seat tube angle, and the length of the chain stay. Majority of frames are near enough identical and many are made in the same factories.

My first cassette hub was an Eastern Pro, too this day I still hold it as the best hub I've ever ran, shame I couldn't get hold of another.

I've recently switched up to 21" and I bought a 53mm stem, I couldn't handle the extra 2mm so I switched back to 51mm and it feels much more comfortable.

Kids are easily influenced and follow any trend. Hating is cool and they will blindly follow anyone who stirs the boat up. Hopefully this will allow people to think for themselves and make decisions based on what THEY like.
