Step 1. Rent a 100lb jackhammer and large air compressor from the local tool rental company. Step 2. Install ear plugs and Run said jackhammer from 0600 until 2200, four days in a row. Just hammer the piss out of a 1/2" steel plate. Step 3. Return rented ... more »

Yup. I'm 41as well. Have ridden bikes most of my life, whether it was BMX or mountain, I always was fooling around on them. Im a big kid, and not afraid to show it. What do the "normal" dads do? I'm not afraid to break that mold. Most of my riding is ... more »

Yeah, I'm kinda the same way when it comes to pedals. Im old school, so metal is what I prefer, but the pc's are holding up nicely and are grippy enough for the way I ride most if the time.

Lol, I just realized that my previous post looks like I'm referring to my bike, but I actually am talking about my 5 month old daughter, haha. And thanks! It just feels like a normal bike now. It really wasn't a big change, just feels more like a bike ... more »

Whats up with that? I have a welded Sun Estate that came on a complete, and the front was a Sun Envy, also welded.

This. And with multi butted tubing on most frames today, you're just speeding up the clock for your face's meeting with the pavement, haha.

I was running a 21.25" TT, full length steerer tube, Challenger stem, and Perfect 10's. that should be enough rise and room for a6' tall guy. If you're much taller though, a22" TT may be better. Now I have a 22" wheel bike with a 22.125" TT, and it feels ... more »

This is my current bike. Also, this isn't really a troll. And you're lucky as hell to be going riding! I rode a little yesterday, but the weather is too cold to take my baby out in today. Tomorrow and Monday will be better though!

The envy is a super sweet complete. When I started getting back into it, I ordered a Redline Column, and within two months had already built a totally different bike because, in spite of it being a "Full aftermarket complete", it felt too small, even ... more »

Good looking wheel! If I had a 20" frame, I'd jump on that!

I'd absolutely buy it if it had a longer TT. Great deal for a great frame! A year ago, it wouldn't have been on here 20 min before someone snatched it up!

Man, that is honestly weird, yet very common. I guess it has to do with a steady stream of kids coming in and drooling over the bikes and parts or something. I know exactly what you're talking about though. I have yet to find a shop where the workers ... more »
