HD stuff is sweet, but it is significantly more expensive to get a decent HD camera. You'd be good with a VX2100 for quite a while. Maybe one other camera to consider would be a Panasonic DVX100. That's what I shot with before I made the move to HD. It did really good for me and also gives you the option to shoot in 24 frames per second and 30 frames per second. And, if you do decide to step up to an HD camera, the controls are almost the same on the Pansonic HVX200, which as far as I'm concerned is the best HD camera for BMX right now and also what I'm currently shooting with.

    Either way, Gl2, VX2100, DVX100, or HVX200, you'll be well off.

    hey conner,
that's awesome. both of those cameras will do great for you. personally, I would probably chose the sony vx2100. the 2100 gives great, warm colors in the daytime and is by far the best camera to film with in low-light. either is a great choice, but the 2100 probably takes the cake as far as overall bmx use.
