This happened to me a while back. I ended up just throwing a bunch of spacers between the bottom bracket and the sprocket adapter then i put the crank arm on the other side and started tightening down to push the adapter off.
Cheap: I usually keep a case of PBR in the fridge just for whenever Good: Sierra Nevada's Pale Ale and their Torpedo IPA are two of my favorites, along with Guinness. A liquor store opened up nearby with quite a good selection so i plan on trying more ... more »
I don't really follow either one that much anymore besides their video parts, both are great riders but from what i've seen they could both stand to grow up a little. Adam's little rant on his newest part about working at woodward was just whiny especially ... more »
I'm digging the specs. Hopefully it will have the 41 thermal
Start out with a box and get a rail later on, both are super fun. Boxes are good for a lot of tricks but theres some stuff you can't do like crooks, over grinds etc, so a rail is nice for that. Boxes are pretty simple to make, just youtube bmx grind ... more »
I always liked mine slammed just so it couldn't slip much. Mine will sometimes just randomly slip after a while and it's annoying as hell when you're out somewhere riding with no tools and the chain is slapping the chainstays. I've never felt a difference ... more »
I can't really think of anyone my riding is similar to. My style could be described as lazy and sloppy. I like flat ledges and small chill setups that don't take much effort to ride. I also like messing around with weird little trick variations.
The solid version is $34 so it's not too bad. I do agree with all the others though saying that it should've come with a couple extra links just in case. From my experience the chain isn't that much more convenient when it comes to installation over ... more »
The free razors were awesome, they were the nice ones too with the replaceable heads. It was kinda random but i guess companies give them free samples to throw in with orders, last order i got an air freshener haha.
While i'm a profile fan and ride them myself i'd go with the demo's since you can get them brand new. The profiles are a few years old and since you're not the original owner you have no warranty if they snap.
I usually just have to keep rolling up to something and eventually i'll either commit and land it or get close. For grinds having a smaller box that doesn't take much effort to get onto can help, i have a smaller box thats just a few inches over peg ... more »
Ahh so jealous haha. Wish dans would hurry up and get theirs so i can use my rewards points to get one.
My Altamont jeans have always held up good. Just make sure whatever you get has some spandex in them, that should help with the blowouts.
EDIT: WTF meant to reply to the Ezra freecoaster thread, not sure how i replied to this haha
The way i look at it is if a kid starts smoking weed because of OSS they are weak minded, can't think for themselves, and easily influenced by everything they see. For those type of people if it isn't OSS it will definitely be something else. From a ... more »
I plan on getting one but it will probably be the solid version, don't really care to pay extra for the hollowed out pins.
I've been running 2.25 machete up front and a 2.10 Ross tire in the back for a little over a year now. Just ordered up some of the deharts though in 2.35 front and 2.20 back. I'm a big fan of the fatter tires and low psi, amazing grip and easy on the ... more »
Can't even imagine trying to hop that thing much less coming at it fakie, insane.
David grant is huge and runs a 21.6 frame with 165 cranks. Benny L runs shorter ones too. That's all that really comes to mind off the top of my head, i know a lot of dudes out there though are making the switch to shorter cranks now. I'm the same height ... more »
Yup, there will be a warranty card with the frame.
