The top tube has 13 stars... this is for the 13 Greyhound buses Evel Jumped, The rabbits foot on the handlebars, represents the one worn on the zipper of all Evel's jumpsuits, & the "Color Me Lucky" was Evel's lucky saying... painted on his helmets, & the gas tanks of his motorcycles.

I built this Tribute to Evel Knievel, using a Skavenger, Tunnel frame as the backbone for a really aggressive Street / BMX. I wanted to give it a retro feel, but with state of the art BMX technology, using light but strong materials whenever possible... which completely threw any sort of budget out the window. Profile's 30th ann. edition cranks, with custom polished out hardware, Titanium Spindle, & spline drive Profile Sprocket, fitted with Tioga Mono-Block pedals, & driven with dk's half link chain, in nickle finish. Keeping with the Evel Knievel theme, I had custom gold leaf ODYSSEY 7K decals made, to replace the stock one's. The valve stem caps are also one of a kind items, made from a vintage set of dice from Cesar's Palace Las Vegas, where in 1968 Evel tried to jump the famed "Fountains of Cesars". All decals, & sponsor logo's were custom fabricated, & real Gold Leaf was used when possible. Fit Bike Co. Shiv II, in chrome, with custom Gold Leaf Evel Knievel decals, that match those Evel had on his Skycycle the X-2, when he attempted to jump the Snake River Canyon in 1974. I tried to represent Evel's sponsors, Harley-Davidson, Triumph, Bell Helmet's, Chuckles Candy, & Mack Truck's Custom hand painted Fit Bike Co. Pivitol Seat, with Evel's helmet logo, w/ crown AKA the King With a bunch of other bikes in my collection...the Skavenger / Evel Knievel Tribute bike, is now hung in an upstairs hallway in my home as a display with some other custom bikes, & some of my Evel Knievel memorabilia.
