- Bike Checks
looks pretty cool to me. Multiple ledges, stairs to hop up or down, even a railhop if you've got some speed... if you can't have fun at a spot like that then you should quit riding BMX. Don't be a hater, nobody said it was a "gnarliest spot contest"... ... more »
I've had too many to name, but the most recent was an exploded foot and big toe last summer. Took me out for over 8 months total b/c i kept re-injuring it. Getting old sucks. Feeling good now though and getting back on the bike again.
sickness. i have been in that convention center so many times and daydreamed about those rails, sick that somebody actually stepped up and did it!
56 degrees? jesus dude, put on a hoodie and gloves and get out there. That's not that cold. It was like 45 degrees the other night here when we went riding downtown...
i was screwing around w/ my buddies one time at the park and tried to do a thumbs up one handed feeble for the camera.... needless to say it resulted in me eating the recommended daily allowance of shit.
ATX in the house. Please make a lap at 9th for me, I lived there for 8 years and I miss the BMX scene down there a lot.
if your friend really went through 10 drivers I would say he probably doesn't know what he is dong with bike maintenance. Not trying to be a dick, but I'm twice the size/weight of most people on here and I mash on the pedals HARD, and I have never even ... more »
I've been riding the same Hazard rear hub for a couple of years. Almost every other part on my bike has been replaced in that time, but it's still going strong. if you maintain them well they will last forever.
THANK YOU. A funny one, at that. I actually thought about doing this the other day. I still might, my idea for the pic was even a bit more ridiculous than this one.
never owned one, but I pretty much trust anything that says Odyssey on it - they've been one of the most consistently good companies in BMX for a long time.
It's also really easy to dial tricks in while "EXTREME WALKING!" I'm gonna just start wearing running shoes to the park and doing 180's and 360's on the box jumps. Maybe I'll walk backwards for a while and turn around - get my reverts dialed in. Or maybe ... more »
dude.....why???? i would rather see somebody on a pair of rollerblades than a fucking scooter. Burn this and get a skateboard if you get bored with riding your bike sometimes. I'm an open minded guy, but some shit is just too lame to be associated with... ... more »
insane bike control. riding trials brakeless is just gnarly. I think he's just doing it because he can. lol at the end: "Why'd I take my brakes off? This is dangerous."
snowboard season is SO close - we had our first big storm of the fall roll in last night.... it has been DUMPING snow in the mountains all morning. We've even had a few flakes fall down here in the Salt Lake valley, but it's not quite cold enough for ... more »
haha, thanks for taking one for the team, buddy. I think you're the only person older than me. We shoud start a "crusty old man" ViT@L Kr3W.... or not.
check out the Atomlab Trailking or Black Market MOB. They both have shorter rear ends and feel more BMX-y than a lot of 26" DJ frames out there.
well, the mtb's doing 30 foot drops usually have around 8 inches of suspension front and rear to cushion the landing for both the rider and the bike. smaller wheels are definitely stronger, it's just a matter of physics. however, rims are still strong ... more »
plus bigger wheels are just fun sometimes. they go a lot faster and the bike feels a bit different. i have a 26" dirt jump mtb that I ride on trails a fair bit, even some street when I feel like it. I find it way harder to manual w/ huge wheels though, ... more »
