I naturally grind on my back foot. At the moment I have my drive side on the right and just use the s&m cymbol dsg and a odyssey mds and I rarely have any chain issues. Just buy a decent chain and you should be right. The more you grind the easier ... more »

Cheap and nasty good for park drinking. Phoenix or emu export. Expensive home drinking: white rabbit pale ale, corona, coopers pale ale. Or anything free. Free beer tends to be the best beer. Rum is where it's at though. Kraken, captain Morgan.

Not sure of the brake performance aspect. But I'd just try and even the weights up

All depends if you are front heavy or back heavy on your bike while your riding. I'd try and even the bike out as much as possible. Or if one rim is chrome I'd use that as the rim for the brakes

Well you have made the length of your bike shorter so that may make it easier but I'd say it's all mental

Something that kids have to realize is the blue bird and the cult chain are two different chains. Bluebird made by kmc, the cult made by someone else

Spoke mod is a very old brake mod. Stiffens up the feel of the brake by removing the slop/slack in the straddle cable.

Added reply in a thread Dude Look how fat this chain is on my 2Hip donor bike 7/16/2014 4:10 AM

I had one that looked like that on my old fbm night train. Was manly as hell and the best thing it cleared my mds

Fairly cheap set up would be a odyssey cable and evo2's. Always felt nice when I ran that set up.

Added reply in a thread Is this bad for my chain and axle 7/14/2014 6:12 AM

If the chain is uber tight then yeah you can fuck your driver/bearings/chain. You could always cut down a small peice of metal and use that in front of your axle and the drop out. Or cut off a small peice off of your anti roll pin so your axle moves ... more »

Go with the safety side. Hi tensile frames are loads weaker than a chromo so they are unsafe

If you want a good cassette get a gsport ratchet or an odyssey antigram. Great hubs with a true 14mm female axle set up. Other good cassettes: Tree Cult match Primo mix (not the remix) Shadow btr is meant to be good too. Freecoasters are all a matter ... more »
