Added reply in a thread Stem and bar height question 3/3/2015 3:45 AM

A top load stem will raise the bars. In the specs of the stem it will have "rise". So if the rise is 20mm. Your bars will be 20mm higher than a front load in the same position on the steerer tube. So take the height off your current bars from the height ... more »

It's fairly close to the specs on the limited 100. Just a few mild tweaks. Specs when I do a bike check when I get it

Added reply in a thread Why aren't there more fork designs 9/21/2014 5:49 PM

If you want drinks that are like mountain bike fork shape with no shocks you need to look into racing forks. 14mm option died alon with the 14mm front axle it's only used on shitty completes now. Round tubing is quicker, easier and cheaper to make than ... more »

Added reply in a thread chromoly guarded sprocket 9/20/2014 9:43 PM

I'd run a chromo guard like the tree guard. Bolt it to an aliminium sprocket. Not uber heavy and the company wouldn't have to fork out so much for tooling etc

Added reply in a thread 48 hs, am I the only? 9/20/2014 9:38 PM

I have two 48 gsport hubs one is laced to a ribcage and the other is to some other rim that I can't remember. I'm running the rear at the moment but I need to get a new axle machined for the front

Ratchet hands down. I ran one for three years. Only traded it out so I could run a 48spoke ratchet

Added reply in a thread Left Hand Drive worth it? 8/4/2014 7:22 AM

Can't afford a left hand drive hub? Buy a s&m cymbol guard or a daily grind guard. And if you still have some cash buy a guard sprocket. I've got a ratchet which I can swap drive side on. Ran lhd for ages. I'm now running rhd cause I count be bothered ... more »

Springfeild levers are a budget lever. Nowhere near as good as a decently priced lever. Get a tech 77, a dirt Harry, a gold finger or a monolever

Added reply in a thread Pegs and everything about them... 7/27/2014 10:16 PM

I naturally grind on my back foot. At the moment I have my drive side on the right and just use the s&m cymbol dsg and a odyssey mds and I rarely have any chain issues. Just buy a decent chain and you should be right. The more you grind the easier ... more »
