Yes update
Did some one say lazy? I wish i could blame it on being lazy, but between running the companies, updateing all the sidewall and hoffman bikes web stuff.. traveling and doing all those other things it makes it a little hard to update my persona vital page..
Some one should talk to my boss and tell him to give me more personal time.
I hope to make my next update sooner but don't count on it.

Man, the last few months have just flown right by. Here I am at the end of the year and things are not slowing down. My head has been in the new product mode and have had little time to blog..
But i say new product is better to look at then my silly old type.
Just in case i don't get a chance to write before the new year..
Merry Christmas and Happy New year

Home??
I made it! I am home! To not surprise the 07 product is arriving. oops except for some of the complete bikes. some of our containers got stopped by customs for inspection, boooo.. This is putting a 2 week delay.
I guess some ones got to keep us safe..
Productin went really well, but long. 7 days. The good thing was a made a stop in Japan to hang out with Kazuo. That was great. We got to do a little street and park riding for a day. got some photo and video that i hope to have up soon.

A LITTLE SLOW
It has been some time since my last blog..Got back from Asia trip, straight to Interbike in Vegas, to yet another departure on Friday.
I guess i am a different bread. Normal people count sheep, I count the items on my to do list. Some times i can fall a sleep and some times i can. So, I find myself sitting on my couch typing news updates along with this blog thing.
Got a lot of things on the table... Website, Web Store, New Product don't worry.. i will sleep when i am dead.
On to HB news update.

Jet Lag
Well here I am, finally back home and up at 4.15am typing a news update. I got back late Monday night from my production trip. Took a well needed break yesterday, but now find my self in Jet lag mode. Eyes popped open at 3.30am, laid in bed until 4am. Got up and thought I would start the day.
By the way 07 products are on the water.

Killing time!
So, what do I do when there is a break in production? I start digging through the photos on my computer for a laugh or two. Here are a few that made me giggle.

Big Island and I, CFB 06 party.

Big I 1 hour later.

Mystery Meat?
It never fails, every time I travel to Asia I always find myself trying something that I haven’t tried before. Today, I was coach into picking up some mystery meat that was still attached to the bone. Black charred meat on a bone,
mmm, mmm how could I say no. They handed me a glove and I was off. Still not sure what type of meat it was, but one thing I have learned while visiting Asia, don’t know, don’t ask, just eat. Can't wait until tomorrow..

Only If....
As you get ready to lay your head on your pillow, I am getting ready to head to the factory to watch another day of production..
It is good to see things starting to roll. IL1 and PL1 complete bikes are complete and are being loaded into the container with all the parts. Starting today; EL2 complete bikes. Our goal is to hit 1000 assembled bikes today.. We will see..

It's always something
Yesterday was suppose to be the first day for final assembly, but was not the case. You can complete a bike with out rims. It did give me time to enjoy the rain and catch up on emails.
We try again today..

second home
Yes, I made it. After 27 hours of travel i made it to my home away from home. For the last 10 years i have called Taichung, Taiwan my second home.
Well, I find myself in my hotel room getting ready for the first day of production for the new 07 Hoffman Bikes product line. The first day is always the hardest.. You never know what you expect. Most of the time things run smoothly, but there are those times when things don't.
I guess i will know in a matter of hours.. I am off to the factory.
by the way the new HB 07 product guide is up over at the Hoffman bikes website.. Check it out..
