Added reply in a thread Primo Mix vs Odyssey V3. Which and why? 1/19/2016 2:02 AM

Some good points in this thread. Well, guess I'll stick with the Mix then. Doesn't look the best, but I trust it more and that's what matters in the end. Saves me from having to de/re-lace 2 wheels and I can just keep the other wheel as a spare, so a ... more »

I also thought about this as well, but I'm not completely sold on the female axle trend and don't think I ever will be. I think it's possible to get the conversion kit for both, but I may be wrong about that. And that's exactly what happened with my ... more »

Agreed. And wouldn't mind having a Standard frame myself as well! That or an FBM Agreed with Skullmunch too about WTP. Tho I'd probably just buy a Sunday if I was trying to get another foreign made frame, but I'm a little Odyssey biased anyways. Which ... more »

I think he's just referring to high quality, high dollar SuperTherm tubing compared to Taiwan factory bulk tubing which probably costs alot less. This is also where I think these assumptions of purity and strength come from. Just because everything in ... more »

Added reply in a thread Primo Mix vs Odyssey V3. Which and why? 1/14/2016 3:53 PM

That was the plan tbh. Lol. I've also been riding alot of dirt lately since this recent "storm" (what you midwest/east coast guys consider light drizzle. Haha), and don't exactly want to take the V3 in the dirt since the driver isn't sealed as well as ... more »

Added reply in a thread Warranty 1/14/2016 3:32 PM

I haven't snapped any frames personally, but I've seen plenty from both sides of the world suffer the same fate. I can say that my '05 Fit frame that was made in Taiwan does feel stiffer than my '13 Fit frame that was made in the USA at S&M out of ... more »

Added reply in a thread Primo Mix vs Odyssey V3. Which and why? 1/14/2016 2:47 PM

This is exactly what I was thinking, but I don't think I ride hard enough to destroy either tbh. Lol. I'm asking more because I would like to keep one wheel and sell the other. The Mix is laced to a Hazard Lite hoop (V3 is to a Quadrant), which I'm keeping ... more »

Started new thread Primo Mix vs Odyssey V3. Which and why? 1/14/2016 1:33 PM

I have both, but can't decide which one I'd rather use. I've been using the V3 for the last month or so, but switched to the Mix after I got it over the weekend just to try it out since I had a Primo hub before the V3 and it was great. I've built my ... more »

Added reply in a thread 7 year anniversary. 1/13/2016 10:06 PM

Pushing 7 years as well, and I too drift in and out for a year or so at a time, especially when I have a job or move or something. Never stop riding tho unless my bike's fucked up and it takes me a while to get parts. Vital's pretty much the same, but ... more »

Added reply in a thread ANY TRAILS IN NORCO RIVERSIDE CORONA AREA 1/13/2016 9:55 PM

Ah nice. Pretty far for me to travel to build. Been helping the homie lately with his trails coming up in the hills in Corona, and have been cleaning up/riding the cemetery jumps in Norco for the last week. On the subject of Norco, has anyone on here ... more »

Added reply in a thread Brake or Brakeless 1/11/2016 3:14 AM

Brakes are a pain in the ass imo, and you don't need them to do fufanus or ride trails, or anything else for that matter(except tracks because they're mandatory. Lol). Like GrumpySteve said, once you've ridden without them long enough, you become alot ... more »

Added reply in a thread Primo Pro/Mix drivers compatible? 1/11/2016 2:49 AM

Got a Primo Mix hub yesterday, and would like to confirm once and for all that they DO NOT interchange! The outer diameter of the Mix driver is smaller, so there's zero chance of the Pro driver fitting inside the Mix hub shell. I would've taken pics ... more »

Yeah if you know someone that has a half million dollar +/- cnc machine at their shop. That plus the training to use it is exactly why billet stuff like car/truck wheels for example cost so much. The overhead on it is absolutely ridiculous. But yeah, ... more »

Added reply in a thread the future 1/8/2016 9:36 PM

Lol yeah, forgot the affordable part at the end of my previous comment. I do think there would be some pretty bad ass ones if a company actually decided to do it. I don't like scooters, but I do like some of the designs of wheels I see kids riding. Plus ... more »

Added reply in a thread What video game do you think encourages violence the most? 1/8/2016 9:19 PM

True, but you still gotta have a good enough job to afford it and resources for parts, the technical knowledge to build a cage and suspension correctly, as well as a place to build it. Exactly the situation I'm in now financially. I've been to college/trade ... more »

Added reply in a thread What video game do you think encourages violence the most? 1/7/2016 11:46 PM

Hey, those crappy autocross cars are actually pretty bad ass sometimes imo. Sure, it would be great to have a fully built tube frame track car. But like you said, most of us will never have the money or resources for that. At least that's one way to ... more »

You must play Forza as well? Lol. I find it funny that they say the AI in career mode is actually other people's ghosts. If that's true, other people seem to not be able to drive for shit.
