I checked the specs for the DVC30, and it seems that it's got 43mm threads; so, to get that lens to work, you'll need a 43mm-58mm step-up ring in addition to the lens. I've never seen any shots from that camera/lens combo up on SkatePerception, but I'm going to guess that it'll probably be fine.
I got one a Raynox MX3000 a few months back. It isn't quite as wide as the Death, and it only comes in a threaded version (no bayonet), but considering that it's only 1/6th of the price, it works great; there no vignetting either, at least with my VX1000. The last few vids on my site all have a lot of clips with it in there, if you want some examples.
