Every year after winter, the mississipi rises. but not every year we get a flood. This is our first flood since 2000. This one is worse than 2000. Our bowls at the skate park started flooding like a month ago. so we couldn't use the bowl, then like 2 weeks ago the water started to surround the park. Last week I went down to check it out....the skatepark looked like a island in the middle of nowehre. no lie there. The flood waters are goin down as of now. it's goin down pretty quick too. The park opens back up in a few days. well...that depends on how much rain we get in the next few days.
