The Davenport,iowa skatepark has opened back up!
everything is cleaned and ready to go. its wierd ridin' that place again, but at the sametime Im stoked!

yes. we have another flood. actually the whole state of Iowa is under water! too much rain! the skatepark is flooded out, so we can't ride, unless we ride skatechurch wich is only once a week! it will be prolly a few weeks till we are able to ride the park, so don't plan any road trips to iowa unless you wanna go swimming!

Every year after winter, the mississipi rises. but not every year we get a flood. This is our first flood since 2000. This one is worse than 2000. Our bowls at the skate park started flooding like a month ago. so we couldn't use the bowl, then like 2 weeks ago the water started to surround the park. Last week I went down to check it out....the skatepark looked like a island in the middle of nowehre. no lie there. The flood waters are goin down as of now. it's goin down pretty quick too. The park opens back up in a few days. well...that depends on how much rain we get in the next few days.
