Pro Rider Allan Cooke was constantly being asked by riders at parks how they could get noticed and get a sponsor. Local Exposure Tour is his answer!
We pack in 10+ pro riders and go visit six different bike parks. We bring with us Fuel TV, Ride UK Magazine, and we produce a DVD buy the end of the year. This year we will also have VitalBMX on the road with us and www.bnqt.com will be posting exclusive shots and interviews from the road.
It's so much more than a pro demo. When you show up you quickly find that it's more about the riders that participate in the tour, all riders are welcome. At each stop a favorite rider is chosen by the pros and in the end an overall champion in crowned.
2007 "The Golden Ticket" the champion will receive the largest reward for any tour ever created! Sponsors, video parts, travel money for contests and of course a seat on the RV for next years tour.
It all goes down April 19 - 29, 2007 in New Mexico, Arizona and Southern CA. Come and ride with your favorite pros in a wide open jam session. Also the product toss' are rediculous thanks to our great sponsors!
If you want us to visit your park send a message now! Keep an eye on the website for updates...

DC Shoes presents – Local Exposure Tour 4 “The Golden Ticket” DVD Premier Sunday, Nov. 4th 4:30pm – 8:00 pm K1 Speed, Carlsbad!
The 2007 Local Exposure Tour was by far the largest we have ever had. Both because of pro’s on the tour and local participants. We brought on the best in BMX video skills Tony Ennis, Chad Shackelford, Will Stroud and Brian Purdy. During the road trip from Albuquerque to Southern California and they captured 80 hours of footage!!! Brian Purdy has cut and edited all that down to one bangin’ hour of madness, plus there is a half hour of bonus footage and all the music is produced by TJ Lavin. Dave Jacobs is putting all the finishing touches on the graphics and we are inviting you all to be the first to view the finished product!
DC Shoes has rented out the entire K1 Speed Go Kart Racing facility in Carlsbad for an evening of free racing, food and drink for everyone that shows up! There will be a ton of local pro’s from BMX, FMX, Skate and more so this is your chance to show them up on the go kart track!
After everyone gets a chance to turn their fastest lap we will have a final race showdown between the 10 fastest drivers of the evening for trophies and ultimate bragging rights. After which we will premier The Local Exposure Tour “The Golden Ticket” DVD!!!
There will be a red carpet entry with a chance to get your photo taken and posted to the LET site. Fuel TV will also be there shooting for “The Weekly Update with Boost Mobile”. All media is invited to attend. If you intend to show up please RSVP at letusknowwhatsup@localexposuretour.com so we know how much food and drink to get.
Make sure you get there early to get your name on the list for free racing. The party goes from 4:30 pm to 8:00 pm. Sunday Nov. 4th.
Saturday night you will change your clocks one hour back. If you don’t change your clock you will show up an hour late.
This is a Proper Management Event- LET 4 DVD Release
Local Exposure Tour 4 “The Golden Ticket”
This years Local Exposure Tour was by far the largest crew we have ever put on the road. We traveled to the South West region of the map and searched out local city and private owned bike parks for some insane unknown talent, and we didn’t get let down!
Pro riders on this years tour included Allan Cooke, 2006 LET Champion Dave Rytell, Ryan Nyquist, Cory Bohan, Colin Mackay, Chase Hawk, Alistair Whitton, Ryan “Biz” Jordan, Dave Dillewaard, Rob Wise, Mike Laird, Dom Travado, Adam Banton, Heath Pinter and special guest Laif Valin! That was just the riders! We also had Catfish and Micah Cranz rockin’ the mic along with Jayk and Brian Lee tattooing non stop during the trip.
This year’s tour also had by far the most footage of any tour thus far with Brian Purdy, Chad Shackelford, Will Stroud and Tony Ennis all behind the lens. Dave Jacobs also put his touch on all the graphics and web design. Just the “Days Off” portion of the trip was enough to make a complete DVD with Skydiving, Go Cart Racing, Motorcycle Racing and more!
Be sure to check out all the great riding footage and antics on this year’s Local Exposure Tour 4 “The Golden Ticket”. DVD will be in stores by Thanksgiving. Go to www.localexposuretour.com for any other updates and thanks again to our sponsors for making this year bigger than ever! DC Shoes, Boost Mobile, ww.bnqt.com, Bell Helmets, Harley Davidson, Specialized Bicycles, Fox, Kicker Audio and Ogio.

Local Exposure Tour, “The Golden Ticket” is a wrap!!!This years Local Exposure Tour was one for the books! With more participants thanever before and the largest group of pro riders, three RV's for transportation andthree Harley's on the road "The Golden Ticket" was a huge success! If you are new to LET what we do is pile into three RV's with the best pro's inBMX and as much media as we can gather. We stop at six bmx parks and the local ridersget a chance to be caught by our cameras as well as win a ton of product from oursponsors. The grand prize or this years "Golden Ticket" is a complete sponsorshippackage for one lucky rider that gets chosen by the pro's on tour! Go towww.localexposuretour.com for more details.Congratulations to Marcos Torres who won the Escondido Sports Center stop and washand selected as the top rider of the tour by all the pro's on the trip. Marcos has abusy year in front of him but with a ton of support! He now has a one year flowsponsorship from DC Shoes, Bell Helmets, Fox Clothing, Specialized Bicycles, and aBoost Pre-Paid Mobile phone with free service for one year!!! He will be attendingthe open Qualifiers at the first two stops of the Action Sports Pro Tour (expensespaid by LET), shooting a video part in the next S9F Production and enjoying himselfon next years LET with all the pro's! Keep an eye on this kid for 2007!Bonus!!!Because the competition was so close we used a little pull to offer a second rider anamazing opportunity through LET! The pro riders on the tour selected JohnnyStevens to receive a spot at the Free Flow Final in Orlando FL.!!! Johnny showedamazing riding skillz in AZ and we just had to recognize. LET will be flying him toOrlando to compete against all the winners of the Free Flow Tour events throughoutthe year. The overall winner of the Free Flow Final will have a guest spot among theworld’s best in the ASPT Finals! Last year Mike Spinner (who was a LET 3competitor) won the guest spot and qualified first among all the riders in BMX park!Congratulations to Johnny and Marcos! The word is definately out that L.E.T. is the premier summer tour for BMX. We hadBMX riders traveling from hundreds of miles away crossing state and eveninternational lines just to get a chance to ride with their favorite pro's and have ashot at winning some awesome prizes. We saw some amazing talent out there justwaiting to be exposed. There was so much going on that we shot almost 100 hoursof footage just for our DVD!!!"The Golden Ticket" was all about taking it outdoors for 2007. We visited all outdoorparks a few concrete and even some dirt jumps where available for the riders ontour. The outdoor setting also allowed for the biggest turnouts in LET history! TheReed Park Wheels Court was one of the most packed locations and a couple ofmonths ago bicycles where not even allowed to ride there! Every inch of space atthe park was completely packed. Da Compound, in Perris CA, which is run by ShaneGuillen was also a huge stop. There where trains of 50 plus riders on the dirt jumpsall day long that included local talent mixed in with pro's like Cory Bohan, ChaseHawk, Heath Pinter and more! The two park sections where constantly packed aswell. All together we visited thousands of local BMX riders and fans with our crew ofphotographers and cameramen. The coverage that comes out of this will show thatthere is a ton of riders out there pushing the sport and that BMX is a lifestyle for somany young people. You'll have to wait until Brian Purdy captures and edits the ridiculous amount of allHD footage that was shot by our camera crew including Chad Shackelford, WillStroud and Tony. Release for the DVD is set to be mid September '07. This years
soundtrack will also feature beats from BMX dirt jumping legend TJ Lavin, so be sureto pick it up in stores once it releases. In the meantime there are still a few copiesof LET 3 floating around out there so go pick one up or go here as a last resort. We also had on the entire tour with us a three man crew from Rush HD who whereshooting for a one hour high definition show called, "Nomads" which should air bythe end of the year exclusively on Dish Network.Keep an eye on Fuel TV over the next couple of weeks for "The Weekly Update withBoost Mobile".
