On Thursday the 3rd stop of the 2009 Dew Tour started in Salt Lake City with the dirt qualifiers. Unfortunately Ryan Guettler did not transfer to the finals in Dirt but there's still the Park discipline for him, Andy Buckworth, Alessandro Barbero and Dave Mirra.

Qualification starts at 2pm on Friday. Dave Mirra is already qualified for the finals as he's sitting within the top three of the 2009 Park standings. But for Ale, Andy and Ryan, it's on tomorrow.

We'll print the single best design in our Spring 2010 apparel collection, and the top-three artists will receive a Black Label parts kit and Mirraco T-shirt for their efforts. Italian Mirraco rider Alessandro Barbero has arrived at Woodward West in preparation of the upcoming Dew Tour stop in Salt Lake City this upcoming weekend. Dave Mirra, Ryan Guettler and Andy Buckworth will be the other Mirraco riders there.

2020 magazine over in Australia caught up with Andy Buckworth for a little Q&A on his stay in America. Andy has been doing really well all summer and talks about that in the new issue of 2020.

Francois Vernus of DataBMX/Sunex made a video clip of the Twenty Jam. It also involves Maxime Charveron doing a 3-whip off of a wooden wedge ramp over a little bar. Pretty crazy.

The Extreme Playgrounds Summer Session contest in Hamburg, Germany took place over the weekend. Mirraco rider Alessandro Barbero came over from Italy to ride the head to head comp.

In round number one he beat his romm mate for the weekend Naran. Next up was Ben Hennon. The Italian packed enough tricks in his run to make it to the final four. In the finals he met Sergej Geier, Mark Webb and Ben Wallace. The end results looked like this:

The video from La Plagne, France. The FISE Experience contest that Barbero won. If you don't know who to look for, it's the rider wearing the RedBull helmet. Damn, it's black and white so even that is hard to see. Uh, he did a 360-triple whip, a flair-whip, barspin backflip, tailwhip to ice to over so maybe that helps pointing out the Mirraco rider.

If you think these FISE experience stops are easy, I can tell you that the guy in second place does triple whips and opposite double whips with ease. Alessandro Barbero cannot cruise to a win by any means but he managed to pull off one more in La Plagne, France. With the brand new FIAT car on the line at the end of the series Ale did some good business last weekend. Congrats.

No, Harry Main isn't riding already but he's itching to get back on the bike. He just needs to be patient before he hops on the bike again after he terribly broke his leg in July of this year.
