Cam White heading home.
Hey guys, here is an update from me and what I have been up to over the past week or so.

Update:
So this past week and a bit here in Vegas has been awesome. The weather has been perfect, not
much wind at all and overcast on a few of the days so we have had some awesome sessions in the
backyard. The jumps stay wet for a good couple of hours instead of the 20 minutes during

the summer.
I had a mate from Australia stop by Vegas for a few days and we shot some photos in the yard.
This time of year the sunsets are amazing so we got some sweet background colors to our photos.

a few days ago I received my travel documents in the mail which means I can travel out of the
country, so this Sunday I am headed back to Australia. I have some big plans for the yard so I'm
going home and getting straight to work and ready for my next Jam which will be held at
the start of February or there abouts. I'm looking forward to getting home and seeing everyone so that
should be a good time. I am already looking forward to my next jam which will hopefully be bigger and

better than the previous one.
Once I'm home I'm headed up to QLD to visit everyone at Unit and say gday to them. I'm looking

forward to catching up and getting some summer time up in QLD.. other than that its going to be a
busy time with lots of shovel work, but make sure you stay tuned for updates on how the yard is
coming along in preparation for the jam.
cheers, Cam
Catching up with Rogoish
Photobucket I took a minute to catch up with Miles after his recent knee injury. After popping it pretty badly and bein out for 4 weeks I'm back to riding the horse! Last night i went out to shoot photos with Jake Geisel and got a few things done. Being laid down for a while helped me film a bunch of edits for BNQT so it wasn't to bad. I still have to wait to go full force until i get my new knee brace since i lost the one i had after my original ACL surgery, so hopefully that wont take to long to get mailed in. Ridaz Gotta Ride!

Catching up With Cam White.
So this past week we have been in Orlando for the last stop of the dew tour 2009 season. This is
the 2nd comp all year I haven't been injured at so I was stoked to go into it 100%. Not only was I
feeling good but it was the last stop of the tour so I wanted to throw down.
Prelims time was a rough night, it had been raining a whole bunch and the comp was delayed.
There was mud everywhere, we had wet feet which on wet pedals doesn't mix very well. Having to

deal with all these bad elements, we ended up sending the comp anyways. I pulled my second run
how I wanted to and I only just made it into finals. I qualified in last place, it didn't bother me that I

was in last place and was to ride first in finals, as long as I was in then I was happy.
Come finals time the weather was really strange for Florida weather, the high temp for the day was
about 67 degrees and there wasn't much humidity.. so in other words i was freezing! The comp

started around 7:30 and went till 9pm, so it was even colder at that time of the evening. I was the
first rider to go so I thought to myself, I should just send a big big run and try to set the bar high and
get a good first run score. I rolled in and sent the run I wanted so I was stoked that I pulled it off

heaps clean and my score was 90 points even. I was super pumped that I cracked into the 90's in
my first run.
come my second run I was going to keep it similar but mix up the 720 midset with a flip whip. I

sent that run too and managed to pull it off pretty clean. that run scored more than my first run so
I was even more pumped. I had 2 out of 3 runs already in the 90's so I had nothing to loose in my
last run.
Rolling in for my 3rd run, I was again mixing up the 3rd jump and instead of flipwhipping it or
720ing it again I wanted to pull out the backflip barspin to tailwhip. As I threw the bars upside down
and caught them I was just about to throw the whip when my hand fell off.. well that shut down that
trick pretty quick smart and it just ended up being a flip barspin. Not what I wanted so I did a
tiregrab smile at the crowd on the last jump.
at the end of an insane contest i finished in 4th place and that managed to bump me into 7th
overall. I'm definitely stoked on that end result after being hurt for 1 comp and missing another
comp entirely.
After the comp was done it was time for a few brews and a big feed in the hotel lobby with Michelle

and Hess.. it ended up being a great day/night which Hess felt badly the next day.
After a long trip home were now back in Vegas and planning to head to Cali this Thursday to ride
Parslows trails and hang out..
stay tuned for more to come soon.
Cheers,
Cam.
Cam White, Orlando Dew Tour.
Last night was the final stop of the dew tour dirt for 09, I only just made it into finals so I was the first rider out the gate! It was weird for Orlando weather, it was pretty cold and windy but better than the muddy wet humid weather we had during prelims! I had 3 runs I wanted to do and each run had tricks I hadn't yet done so I was a little nervous! I managed to pull off the first 2 runs perfect an both scored in the 90's so I was stoked as! My last run my hand slipped off in the middle of the flip bar to whip so it ended up just being a flip barspin! At the end of the night I finished in 4th an I managed to move up in the overall points to 7th. I'm heaps stoked on that end result after being hurt for most of the season! Good times! Cheers, Cam
