Dr. Pinzon

Last Friday, longtime friend and Profile Test Ape Luis Pinzon graduated from the University of South Florida's Medical School. He is now officially a Doctor. On behalf of everyone here at Profile, I'd just like to say that I'm really proud of Dr. Pinzon, and the hard work and dedication that it took to graduate med school and still have a social life, a great relationship, and the ability to do huge 360 flatties like this one out of the Bro-Bowl last Friday night:

While most of his fellow graduates were sipping 17 dollar martini's with their parents at fancy restaurants around town, Luis met up with the usual Friday night crew for the semi-weekly downtown Tampa ride, called "Dirt Nap Friday." Several spots around town are usually hit up, but most of the time is spent doing flyout tricks at Tampa's venerable Bro-Bowl. Luis has been trying to get tailwhips for weeks now. He is so close he can taste them, but sadly, it just wasn't meant to be the other night. After we called it a session, we headed over to Tampa's equally venerable Hub Tavern for $1 Old Milwaukee's.

Luis is leading a bunch of Profile and Madera team and family riders and friends, including Conall Keenan, Dave McDermott, Vic Bettancourt, Chad Moore, Jon Wilson, Sean Albright, and Forrest Roberts to Colombia this week for some much needed vacation. Everyone brought their bike, so they will hopefully come back with at least a few pictures of some equatorial shredding.

He'll be moving to Los Angeles for his residency pretty soon. We're going to miss him a lot while he's out there. If you see him out in LA, holler at him, he's as fun a guy to ride with as you could possibly hope for.
