Dr. Pinzon

Last Friday, longtime friend and Profile Test Ape Luis Pinzon graduated from the University of South Florida's Medical School. He is now officially a Doctor. On behalf of everyone here at Profile, I'd just like to say that I'm really proud of Dr. Pinzon, and the hard work and dedication that it took to graduate med school and still have a social life, a great relationship, and the ability to do huge 360 flatties like this one out of the Bro-Bowl last Friday night:

While most of his fellow graduates were sipping 17 dollar martini's with their parents at fancy restaurants around town, Luis met up with the usual Friday night crew for the semi-weekly downtown Tampa ride, called "Dirt Nap Friday." Several spots around town are usually hit up, but most of the time is spent doing flyout tricks at Tampa's venerable Bro-Bowl. Luis has been trying to get tailwhips for weeks now. He is so close he can taste them, but sadly, it just wasn't meant to be the other night. After we called it a session, we headed over to Tampa's equally venerable Hub Tavern for $1 Old Milwaukee's.

Luis is leading a bunch of Profile and Madera team and family riders and friends, including Conall Keenan, Dave McDermott, Vic Bettancourt, Chad Moore, Jon Wilson, Sean Albright, and Forrest Roberts to Colombia this week for some much needed vacation. Everyone brought their bike, so they will hopefully come back with at least a few pictures of some equatorial shredding.

He'll be moving to Los Angeles for his residency pretty soon. We're going to miss him a lot while he's out there. If you see him out in LA, holler at him, he's as fun a guy to ride with as you could possibly hope for.

Twilight Jam in Athens this weekend

While I'm prepping more interviews to post, here's a couple photos we've recieved recently from the dudes.

Liam fahy Hampton. Handplant somewhere down under. Photo by Cooper Brownlee.

Jared Eberwein, Tuck ho-hander at blue bench in California. If you didn't see the Profile--Woodward West edit, check back to Mondays news. Jared has some wild clips thrown in there.

Mike "Hollywood" Brancato. Lazy nosepick whip in Ohio. Watching Hollywood ride will make you want to put front brakes back on.

Gervais Rouseau. Bordeau, France. Somewhere in the suburbs. I got an email from Gervais recently that said "I'm 37, but I feel like I'm 20."

Conner Spangrud. Washington State. Cement hot bars. Last time I saw Conner, he was half this size. Photo by Shane Ryan.

Lastly, here's the flyer for the Twilight Jam in Athens this weekend. I'm pretty bummed that I can't go, but everyone else should. It's always an amazing time. Pactice starts this Friday.

Matt Beyers sent over this short one from Victoria, B.C.. The weather is breaking and the ground is being cultivated for trail season.

Dave Brumlow is helping with a jam at Vans skatepark in Orlando this next weekend. If you live in the area, this should be a pretty sweet time.

    Whats up Mark,

I have some Shitluck footage of you fucking killing it. You got combos for days, I used to be a box monkey (San Jose Ramp Club) primarily and you throw shit that reminds me of that. Nothing-to-no-foot-can, sick! How can I get some old profile cranks (not the S.S. those welds were shitty for how many pairs I broke, but bomb drops will do that to anything)with the 7/8 spindle, 120+ splines? Do they still make those?
