After 21 years on the BMX bike I've damaged my body in numerous ways, but none quite like this last week. I managed to break my hip/femur on a plain old icepick. How does that happen? Not real sure but the pain of breaking the biggest bone in your body is not a pleasant one. They put a rod in my femur and a couple pins to help the bone heal. being 35 and breaking your hip could be a devastating injury that might keep me from regaining my confidence but that will not be the case. Injury's are part of the game and they don't just come form burly trick wrecks, it can happen any time anywhere. I'm done for most of year but as long as the trails are still there when i get back my life will be back on track.
Thanks to everybody that came to the Hospital to visit and all my friends who are helping me out at home. See you on the bmx scene soon. Clay

Pusher Video Party / Stephen Murray Fundraiser
The Party went off on the 13th. 3000 drunken people packed the 3 Kings Tavern in Denver. Celebrating the release of Pusher magazine's new video "Cosa Nostra". 3 bands and all night raffles were the focus with all proceeds going to Stephen Murray. 1,371 bucks for raised for the lad and his family. Not to bad for a bunch of poor bmxers.

Busy as Shit
Pusher has moved into a new pad and we are happy as fuck. Maybe we will get off our lazy asses and get some work done. Since June we've road tripped thru the Rocky Mountains, hittn parks and camping. Generally lovin' life. Judged a Dew tour in Portland, saw some wild moves go down. Got booed by the audience and yelled at Paul Roberts. Generally lovin' life. Headed up to Seattle got shit faced and and road the trails. Generally lovin' life. In case anybody gives a shit there were some rippers at the Boulder park today and it was pretty damn good. later

Wasted
there was a bitchn kegger up in Boulder the other night. The Eyeballs played and everybody showed their true colors by getting twisted and toasted. Pat Sabo lost most of his clothes and my hang-over was one of beauty. Alcohol rules!

V-Jam
We had the first BBQ of the year at the V-trails on Mother's Day. Killer day of riding, eating, horse shoes and shit talkin'. 30 packs of PBR were flyin' off the shelves. Only a dedicated few showed up, everybody else must of been doing tailtaps at the park. peace out fuckers!

Why not?
We started planting trees at the V trails. Well grow our own god damn woods! That combined with the soil-tech that we bought for hardening and keeping the trails tight, it should be a magical summer. Buy a shovel, build a ramp, get wasted, but do something besides sitting around writing blogs.
