As long as there's breath in my body.....
So I read on the internet that vert is dead again.

Back in the early nineties, I listened to bands like the Pixies and Fugazi. People were always telling me that rock music was dead, guitar bands were the past.
People were telling me that vert was dead then as well. In fact, people told me that bmx as a whole was dead....

On that note, I'd like to thank all the people who have spoken out against the X Games dropping ANOTHER bmx discipline ( except for Ricardo Laguna who left a post saying how happy he is? What a guy).
Whether they drop it, transform it or reinstate it, it doesn't matter.

As long as there is breath in my body, vert lives, along with dirt, flat, street, park, everything. It's all bmx.

We do it, we control it, we decide it's fate.
Screwed my other knee....
After tearing/snapping the PCL ligament in my RIGHT knee 6 weeks ago, I crashed the other night and bent my LEFT leg the wrong way. I heard a loud SNAP.
First thing I thought was that I had snapped a ligament. Next I HOPED I had 'just' broken my leg. To be honest, I started freaking out a bit thinking the worst. After about 5 minutes, I managed to get up and, after a visit to the emergency room, I found out that my knee had tried to dislocate but had snapped back into place. Basically, a bad sprain.
Lucky escape.
I'm sat on the sofa for a week or two but it's cool because I know it's not too bad. Playing lots of Super Mario and dreaming of riding.....
winter, winter, winter....
Winter has been ups and downs for me; I tore the PCL in my right knee and the rotator cuff in my left shoulder but have avoided surgery on both. The upside is that I was only off my bike for about 10 days and got straight back to normal.

To start with, I was babying my knee a little but then I figured there was no point. My doctor told me that my knee is strong and that I can " carry on as normal".

I've been enjoying not travelling, just hanging out at home and riding lots. I've been learning lots of stuff and have half learnt a bunch of stuff which always makes me feel good.

Summer madness
I'm home for two whole weeks, unbelievable. I haven't stopped travelling since may and have 2 weeks off before I get going again. I won't stop travelling until november when I'll end up in Dubai for the winter.

This is why a lot of 'pros' stay home and rely on video parts!!!!
The airport sucks but I wouldn't have it any other way.......

    hey dude you going to berlin???me and mark are coming out so hopefully see you there.we are both on the comeback trail.lol.
    still i have only managed to ride twice since i returned to my bike on monday.but im ecstatic to be on my new ride.and its like 10lbs lighter than my last bike.
