Well, 1st blog entry and its about pain............. had my left side wisdom teeth out last Thurs (11th Jan). Opted for local anesthetic, which I think was a mistake as I could feel (not pain but pressure) everything that was going on and hear the teeth crack as the Doc butchered my mouth.
Now I have a few stictches and can't ride for a few more days - exerting oneself can cause blood pressure to rise and cause the stitches to burst or wounds to open up - bugger!
Damn my mouth hurts; on regular pain killers. The ones prescribed by the Doc made me puke......
Best take the off-bike time to learn how to use my new Nikon D80 and associated toys !!
So, any of your mid-aged riders planning on having your teeth out, take the option of going under completely, its a rough, bloody and noisy op that you don't want to know about.!
