So far Vital friends have uploaded 127 videos for sponsorship consideration on The GT Project.
We're blown away by the response to this whole deal, and we can't wait to sift through the wreckage and pick 10 riders to be on our Project flow team. We're selecting our 10 riders on April Fool's day, but this is no joke--The GT Project is the real deal, and many of you guys have mad skills. Picking 10 riders is gonna be tough.
Thanks for playing the game.

Enjoy the shorts...
The year: 1984 or 1985?
The riders: Eddie Fiola, Martin Aparijo and Brian Scura

Too much time on his hands...
This guy has WAY TOO MUCH time on his hands:
If you have time to make videos about stickers, maybe you should put down the camera and go ride! -

The GT Project Starts Now...
If you haven't finished your video, you need to start. If you have finished your video, you need to upload it on the GT Project home page. If you have uploaded your video, you need to wait until April 1, 2008 for us to select the 10 best riders in the bunch. If you are selected, we'll send you a brand-new GT Project frame designed and ridden by GT pro Dave Dillewaard. But whatever you do, do something soon, because only an April Fool would miss this chance to get hooked up like a tow truck in 2008. Good luck.

Mike S Bio
Name: Mike Szczesny
DOB: 6/12/1983
Born in: Erie, PA
Current hood: Salt Lake City, Utah
Frame: GT Califia
Sponsors: GT BMX, Square One Clothing
How long have you been riding: I have been riding for 14 years and the movie RAD sparked my interest in BMX. I started racing at the local BMX Track and have been pedaling ever since.
Favorite place to ride? Trails with a bunch of good friends. You can’t beat it.
Style or tricks: Style
Favorite riders: Mike Aitken, Chris Doyle, Kris Bennett. They are all really good friends of mine and they would be mad if I didn't drop their names. Oh and they are pretty good at riding their bikes too.
Favorite Movie: Too many to list - I really like comedy.
Favorite BMX video: P.U.S.H. "Tweakers". It was the first video that I had seen and everyone in the video made BMX look so fun.
Music: anything, anytime, anywhere
If you could go anywhere, where and why? I think I would go Italy. I have always wanted to go there and visit the Ferrari headquarters.
What do you do besides ride BMX? I work most of the time. When I am not working I snowboard in the winter ride road bikes in the summer and I am also a car geek.
What kind of plans do you have for the future on or off the bike? I plan on growing my family and staying healthy. -

Doug Connolly Bio
Name: Doug Connolly
DOB: May 24, 1986
Hood: Seaford NY
Frame of choice: GT Calafia
Sponsors: GT Bikes, AlpineStars Clothing
Favorite riding: Park & street
Other sports: Golf and swimming
How long have you been riding and how did you get into it? I have been riding for eight years now. A long time ago I saw the X-Games on television and I knew it was something I wanted to do so my parents bought me a freestyle bike and I started to learn flatland tricks and bunny hops.
What is your most memorable BMX story? When I was at a BMX Invasion contest and I pulled my first flip-whip over the box. That weekend I had just learned the trick and then went straight to the contest and pulled it. It was the best feeling ever.
Favorite place to ride: Woodward Camp and Greenport.
Style or tricks: I like to flow around and try to learn all the tricks that are out there. I like to ride dirt, street and park.
Favorite riders and why: Jamie Bestwick and Dave Mirra. Jamie just has the best style on a vert ramp or on anything he rides. Dave Mirra does the best flairs and also makes all the tricks look effortless. Both of these guys to me are the top two athletes in the sport that take it very serious.
Favorite Movie: Disturbia
Favorite BMX video: Road Fools 9
Music: Rock, Emo
If you could go anywhere, where and why? I would like to go to the West Coast because that's where the BMX scene is huge and where all the companies are located. I would be able to ride most of the year as well since the weather is always nice.
What do you do besides ride BMX? I like to go swimming, play with my dog, travel to different places, hang out with my girlfriend, play golf and cruise around in my mustang.
What kind of plans do you have for the future on or off the bike? I just want to be successful in anything I do, get a nice house and down the road start a family.
Favorite place to ride: Woodward Camp. There is so many ramps to ride you can never get bored and you can learn anything you want to there. It's well taking care of and it's all done professional.
How would you describe your local riding scene: There's not too much to ride by me and we only have one good bike park. I don't recommend any riders coming to Long Island to ride unless you’re going to ride in NYC.
What else do you do besides riding BMX: I go to college, play some golf and go swimming.
How does being part of the GT Project make you feel? I love being part of the GT project because I have always rode a GT bike and wanted to ride for them since I bought my first GT Tour. All of the frames that I rode were always dialed and they always had a great look to them. To me I think GT likes to keep things original instead of following other companies.
Do you have any signature trick? Yes If so, what are they? A while back I pulled a backflip can-can to turndown. I have never seen it done before and if it has then I don't have a signature trick.
What are your plans after you are done with school? I would love to ride my bike full-time and if I can't do that I’ll try to become a cop. -

Greg Ingersoll Bio
Name: Greg Ingersoll
Nickname: I don’t have one, but Elf used to call me Squeg.
DOB: October, 16, 1985
Hood: SLC
Frame of choice: GT Calafia
Sponsors: GT Bikes, Merit Compatibles, 50/50 bike shop
How long have you been riding and how did you get into it? About 11 years. I have always ridden my bike for fun for as long as I can remember. I got into riding with some friends I never see anymore there names are Brady E and Dave S. I hope they are doing ok.
What is your most memorable BMX story? Just meeting all the riders I have ever looked up to I guess? Everyday is a memorable BMX story really. My friends and I go through crazy things on a daily basis. Riding around the city and being on the streets something crazy is bound to happen, it never fails to amaze me.
Favorite place to ride? Tanner park. It’s a park in SLC that all of the riders in the area have been fighting the city for the past year or so. It’s dope. It’s basically a canyon that Cam W, Adam V, and myself have been digging trails in and having a good old time in for the past six or seven years. These trails are starting to get really good and well known. I have to give some credit to everyone that has been digging and working hard the past few years: Fuzzy Hall, Rat Tat Tat Adam, Carson, Mike A, Elf W, and of course skier J. We have all been digging and having a blast together, it is definately my favorite place to ride.
Style or tricks? Style for sure. I’m not much of a chip dip whip trick rider, I just love to flow around and have fun. Tricks are fun for sure but if you’re creative and have unique style than you stand out as an individual and people notice that and will respect it.
Favorite riders and why? Oh man this is a hard one. There are so many riders that I look up to. Matt Beringer, Mike Aitken, Shawn (Elf) Walters, Tim (Fuzzy) Hall, Joe Rich, Sergio Layos, Chase Hawk, Cory Nastazio, Cam White, Mike Scezney, Chris Bennett, Brian Yeagle, Taj Mihelich, Gerret Byrnes, Brian Foster - there are many more I just can’t name them all..
Favorite Movie: RAD, The Outsiders, Stand By Me, and Jaws
Favorite BMX video: The Beginning and that’s it.
Music: A little hip hop mixed with some old school rock
If you could go anywhere, where and why? Outer space.
What do you do besides ride: Snowboard. I have an awesome girl I love to kick it with. Her name is SeAnna and she is amazing I also enjoy chilling with friends, digging trails, traveling, and camping.
What kind of plans do you have for the future on or off the bike? Just to live my life to the fullest. Keep on having fun and always push myself everyday.
