About Me
We started the GT Project in 2007 to give hardcore riders a fighting chance. There are thousands of great riders in our sport, but not every one can or will get the recognition he deserves for his dedication to the scene. The GT Project is our way of rewarding progressive riders for their efforts, and a good way for us to give something back to the sport. Being a part of the GT Project is easy: first, add us to your friends. Next, send us a video. Your video should feature your riding, and it wouldn't hurt to tell us a few reasons why you think it would be cool to ride a GT. In April we'll review all the videos we receive and send 10 GT Project frames to the best riders in the bunch. The GT Project Frame has been specially developed for this program by GT designers and GT pro Dave Dillewaard. It's constructed with 100% butted 4130 chromoly Sanko tubing, and the geometry and graphics were developed and approved by Dave himself. The 10 new GT Project riders who we select this April will join current GT Project riders Greg Ingersoll, Mike Szczesny and Doug Connolly. After selecting our 10 new GT Project riders we'll ship each rider a new frame and a bunch of other free stuff. To keep things fresh, we'll be doling out free shirts, stickers and other stuff all year, so upload videos as often as possible... you never know what we'll give away when we see something cool.

- So far Vital friends have uploaded 127 videos for sponsorship consideration on The GT Project.
We're blown away by the response to this whole deal, and we can't wait to sift through the wreckage and pick 10 riders to be on our Project flow team. We're selecting our 10 riders on April Fool's day, but this is no joke--The GT Project is the real deal, and many of you guys have mad skills. Picking 10 riders is gonna be tough.
Thanks for playing the game. - Day Four of the GT Project...
- ... and you guys have already uploaded over 40 videos. Thanks for getting in on this deal. You can watch the videos by going to the VitalBMX home page and looking at the GT Project feature on the news page...

The year: 1984 or 1985?
The riders: Eddie Fiola, Martin Aparijo and Brian Scura
The look: jerseys, leathers and mid-80's nut huggers
This WAS GT.
This IS GT:
That's GT pro Dave Dillewaard and his go-to move.
Upload your video on the GT Project page and you could be sponsored by GT, too...
- Too much time on his hands...
- This guy has WAY TOO MUCH time on his hands:
If you have time to make videos about stickers, maybe you should put down the camera and go ride! - The GT Project Starts Now...
- If you haven't finished your video, you need to start. If you have finished your video, you need to upload it on the GT Project home page. If you have uploaded your video, you need to wait until April 1, 2008 for us to select the 10 best riders in the bunch. If you are selected, we'll send you a brand-new GT Project frame designed and ridden by GT pro Dave Dillewaard. But whatever you do, do something soon, because only an April Fool would miss this chance to get hooked up like a tow truck in 2008. Good luck.

How long have you been riding: I have been riding for 14 years and the movie RAD sparked my interest in BMX. I started racing at the local BMX Track and have been pedaling ever since.
Favorite place to ride? Trails with a bunch of good friends. You can’t beat it.
Style or tricks: Style
Favorite riders: Mike Aitken, Chris Doyle, Kris Bennett. They are all really good friends of mine and they would be mad if I didn't drop their names. Oh and they are pretty good at riding their bikes too.
Favorite Movie: Too many to list - I really like comedy.
Favorite BMX video: P.U.S.H. "Tweakers". It was the first video that I had seen and everyone in the video made BMX look so fun.
Music: anything, anytime, anywhere
If you could go anywhere, where and why? I think I would go Italy. I have always wanted to go there and visit the Ferrari headquarters.
What do you do besides ride BMX? I work most of the time. When I am not working I snowboard in the winter ride road bikes in the summer and I am also a car geek.
What kind of plans do you have for the future on or off the bike? I plan on growing my family and staying healthy.
