Wrap it in electrical tape, it's always worked for me.

Yeah, short back end and aggressive geo can make trails pretty frightening. Otherwise your kit sounds ideal for street, sounds like your on a good sized frame for your height. To put it another way, My favorite jumping geo was a 20.75 with a 74.5 ha, ... more »
