About Me

Well let's see. I started riding when I was 5, which was in 1973. I would watch Evel Knievel on Wide World of Sports on Saturday afternoon, then head right outside and set up some cinder blocks and a board, line up whatever I could find and try to jump it. I broke quite a few Huffys that way. I raced from '81-'84, then the freestyle bug bit. I saved my money and bought a GT Pro Performer, built a 4' wide, 6' tall quarterpipe in the yard and went for it. That year I also saw a show with Ron Wilkerson and Brian Blyther. It was so damn cool watching them ride. I quit riding in 1988, then went into the Army. I started back riding in 2000 racing and did a lot of that until about 2 years ago when all the drama and bullshit that goes with racing got to be too much. I'm now building a 16' wide 5' tall mini, with a spine in the middle in my backyard. There is going to be plenty of grillin and riding at my house this year!

Hi!! I am trying to avoid the surgery. There is a lot of risk involved, because of the way it broke. It may not move again. On May 20 I see the surgeon again. If there is still no sign of healing he will have to perform surgery. And with my determination...I will move my arm again like nothing ever happened. =)---Sucks about the no healing bone. Is surgery an option or are you trying to avoid that?

That's a good idea! Thank you for the idea. Right now I'm off the bike and off work...I broke my arm roller blading---Since you're in Jackson, have you been to the Adrian, MI or Tecumseh, MI parks? Both allow bikes, and the Tecumseh one is free to get into. Not too far of a drive for you either.
