My Names Mathew with one T. I live in San Gabriel Valley, So-Cal. I work two jobs to support myself. I get maybe 2 good days, maybe 3, a week to put in a few hours of riding on my bike so I don't get to ride as much as I would like. Unfortunately, I'm one of maybe 2 or 3 bmx'ers in my city. No street spots, no dirt jumps, just a shitty skatepark that noone shows up to, and my 7 foot quarter in my back yard. got a banked ramp to roll in on, and just a quarter to play with. I wish someone in the area would holla, I need some people to learn off of cus this On My Own shit aint cutting it.

Los Angeles Street Jam .. Damn, man
February 10th. that shit was dope. the riding got off the hook. riding like a swarm of bees (cassette buzzing made it seem like it) down the street in a huge pack taking over everything everywhere. Running red lights by strength in numbers was fuckin cool. I got served though, not broke off, but served a ticket for riding against traffic. I was on Figueroa and 8th. The whole street was blocked off to through traffic because of the grammy awards at the staples center, so I asked the cop on north 7th and Figueroa if I could just ride through, and he said yeah, stay off the sidewalk and on the left side of the street. So I did... and coasted all the way down to 8th. at the corner of 8th and Fig were 4-6 motorcycle cops. They stopped me and 6 other and sited us ALL. I'm gonna fight that shit. Power to the people
For ME!!
I worked over 80-84 hrs a week for 3 weeks during the christmas holiday season. I made like $1,500 in 2 weeks, one of the longest 2 weeks of my life, and upgraded from a 2006 Fit Team XL that weighed 34 lbs, to a Fit Flow Trail Series '08 that weighs 24.5 with 4 pegs. This is gonna be my year. Catch me in Downtown LA on February 10th at noon. 12th and Figueroa Staples center Parking Lot #5. Its 'gon be ON!!

    thanks man...ill try tomorrow when im at the park...i wanted to go on a street mission but one of my riding buddies is grounded,and the other too are goin to a skatepark thats an hour away and im not allowed to go and im only allowed to ride on weekends(my newest blog) so yea thanks again...do you need help with anytricks...i might be able to help

    wow dude thats awesome...if i rode all the time with the amazing local bikers all the time that would be my story too,but i learned off of friends that were a little better than me,and then we started teachin ourselves and each other stuff and now we ve progessed a shitload in less than a year...i can only air a foot out of my local 6 or 7 foot quarter...how do you turndowns??i fishtail every time i try
