View All Blog Entries- BURLY JAM anyone?
- yeah the burly jam was a couple weeks ago! did ne one go to it? me and all ma friends are pretty lucky.......we just live a couple hours away from where it is held! I didn't get the chance to go this year cuz I had some family stuff to go to! The jam is sooo big that ppl from around the country and even canada come down to compete/ride! There are normally pros there competeing in the contest and there are pros there that are the contests judges! it is a 3 day event! like one of the biggest ever besides the dew tour and the x games! and yes almost all of TEAM IOWA is there!
- gryos?
- yeah thats right.......gryos!!!! I have been with straight cable since I started ridin! Now I am makin the change to a gryo so I can do more footjam whips and barspins! I have all the peices I just need to put it on! I think the gryos an big bars are makin a come back in the BMX industry!
- I Guess Girls Do BMX Here In Davenport

Well I take that back about girls not BMXing here in Davnport. There is one girl that does that i seen. She is in her 20's. She has a guys bike with a touch of phemonem colors. She acts like a tomboy (well DUH is she bikes). She is a pretty good rider. She was riding the mini ramp at Skate church hella good. She showed some of the guys!
- Global Warming...Good or Bad?

Well global warming is really starting to kick in. Over the holiday break I got to ride my bike everyday even on Christmas day for a bit. On christmas day it was like 45 out i think and it was nice.
- Wow BMX is Big!

I am impressed to see girls out there doing BMX. Here in Davenport girls would never think of trying it.They wear the clothes but don't ride the bike.
- Why Fine Us?

Well for about a year or so here in Davenport,Iowa we had nowhere to go ride bikes. Well there was skatechurch it is only open 4 hours and saturdays only and only three out of the month. So every one in Davenport would go out and ride street. Some riders were getting fined and bitched at. I was one of those riders who got fined. I had like a 50 dollar fine for griding a ledge. So after a while the cops stoped handing out fines cuz so many people were doing it. What was the piont of giving riders fines. The next day they just went out street riding anyways.

i think they would look very bright, but hey they'd match yer pedals....that color is amazing it hurts my eyes everytime i look at them...in a good way i guess...
