S&M 20th Project

Man!! We are in FULL EFFECT right now creating the museum for the 20th anniversary gig fir S&M. Chris has been over here burnin the midnight oil with us the past few evenings. What ever you do just make it out for the event on Aug. 4th. you shall not be disappointed. I cant believe that its been 20 fuqin years already! I'm sure Losey and all the O'G henny Loc's will be rollin in. SHL will be represented well with all the usual suspects showing up from far and wide.....Until  next time.

I missed the fact that i got to hang out with Midget Cory and Eric and they hooked up a nice quality spot for this oldman to hang for the contest. MUCH LOVE FOR MY DOGS!!!!!!

dacompound contest was.......

Out of fuqin control!! First off I havent seen half of those guys in over a year. It was good to see Thomas Hancock back in full effect. That kid is friggin DIALED as ever! He is a real BMX'r to go through the shit he has early on and keep on his horse @ that level. IMPRESSIVE transfers that NO-ONE else was doin. Got to hang with Eddie Fiola for a minute ALWAYS good to hang out with the 35 and over crowd that I am a part of. GEEZ some kid Dennis Enarson (I THINK thats his name) sorry I was a lil tipsy....He is my sons age (15) and rides like a damn MAN pullin manual nosebonk frontflips over the box! HUCKER was holdin it down AS USUAL....Some kid with gold SLAM bars was killin himself and pullin WILD shit. James Foster is always a treat to watch with his unique style. Brian Johnson also gets a mention for hittin the roof numerous times. All in all Shane dawg threw a quality jam like he has learned from us O'G's from years of hanging out!! MUCH PROPS to Shane and his compound for keepin it real in a day and age of B.S.!!!! Go ride that park and support our homie so the park is kept in its state of being DOPE!!!! 1 last note....Ratt was M.I.A. due to some issues, hope all that works out for him. slater locals

Whew.. Long time no see the slater locals (DRE, Alex, etc..) Once a thriving spot where u didnt have all the media circus @ ur own trails it was a dope second spot to go bbq with friends. Now it is flooded and they are building a mall on the wetlands (smart considering they just put up Tsunami evacuation route signs by my shop 2 miles inland). Man how times change. All the kids I met through BMX have grown & have families and or are on to bigger and (better?) things. Man I miss just punchin a clock forgetting my shitty day and riding, diggin with my friends. Now My son is a sophmore in H.S., wants a car has had numerous girl (friends) and still has an autographed FIT Team Pro from robb-o hanging in the garage. You can never tell what the hell life is gonna throw your way. Butler turned 30 (I met him, Stricker, Barspinner, Adam Pope, Chulo, etc.... when they where like 12 yrs old) Watch out kids Your youth comes around only once and then POOF! Your on your 7th knee surgery and you too could be forced to not walk normal anymore... Take it from me, a semi-grumpy 36 yr. old SHL. Throw them bars and cook that chicken, but Enjoy every second, cause you cant go back! I would NEVER change a thing about my life or the things BMX has givin to me! Just keep focus, learn a second passion to fall back on and believe in what you do... Its not about money and sponsors or even what your parents think you SHOULD do! Its just smiling and hanging with ur good friends. Til' next time.. Keep it real!

  Yo what up dogger that is cool that you are down for what ever. I love bmx and I love beer I have been riding for on and off for year now(school,work take up most of my time lately I feel so part time in bmx.) But my free time is devoted to riding. My guidelines to life would be:Damn it feels good to be a gangsta,Drink beer til ya pass out! Ride to get hurt(broke my hand last month). Ya seem like a cool person.
