did the sand blasting take away the "knurling"or whatever on your bars? If so and you told them about it they should pay for some new bars. Or if I misunderstood you I guess its ok. Any how I hate stems that leave steering tubes and that knurled area of the bars exposed for more than one reason. One: clamping surface area or lack there of, two: all that tension concentrated on such a small area combined with butted bars could lead to over the tightening and "denting" and or cracking of the bars in that same knurled area, and or steerertubes, and three: its ugly. i worked on a bikeshop for more than 4 years so i like to stay tuned and informed about all parts and new bike stuff. And there's nothing good in say "i hate this".. everything have good and bad things so be a hater is not so good.
fca is a welding ispection company that the college i go to deal with the help finance new companys so im trien to get them to throuw money my way so i can start fultime production
the three going to IL. are heading for my buddies shop its called vance's bicycle world his son is gonna ride one and the other to are going on the shelf for sale
i might grab up a couple of people in the next year, ive thrown a couple of people frames already so i guess its like a start of one
actully i just drop off 6 to be coated ill go pick them up on friday 3 are going to IL. 1 is for a local kid and the other 2 go to fca to get looked at
yea dude i did make it ive built 13 since last june still try n to get the web site up its kinda hard to get all of it done pluse school and work and my kids
