what you could do is get chain tensioners.. then you can tighten ur chain to where you want. i use them for that reason.

file your dropouts a little, or get a half-link and add it to your chain.
Forcing it onto the chainring is a BAD idea, you will weaken your chain and possibly damage your chainring.
