hello all my name is ryan holbrook and ive been riding a bike since day one, although ive only been seriously into bmx for about 2 years now. i prefer street, but as long as im on a bike, all is well. im going to school for journalism, photography, and i also want to get a degree in film, like editing and whatnot. um.....love to travel, Paris is amazing. Anyways, i came here hoping to meet new people. Fellow riders, photographers, filmers, anyone. I also LOVE music. Smashing Pumpkins, Foo Fighters, The Prize Fighter Inferno, AFI, Blood Brothers, Johnny Cash, anything but country and rap. Nothing against those types of music, just not my cup of tea. The town I live in disregards any sport that isnt for fags like base ball and football, so of course bikers and skaters are just "those kids". My friends and I formed a committee for a skatepark, and it actually came through. So now we have about a 75 X 100 fenced in area with a roll in, a rail, a kicker, and a 3 foot quarter that doubles as a fly-out. We're tryin to make it worth something, but times are tough when you're your only motivation to get out there and do it, but i know it'll be kickass here pretty soon. SO yeah this is definately the most solid of the bmx sites ive visited, so i guess im stickin with it! KEEP RIDIN

What is your favorite type of riding and why?street. i love miniramps too. the possibilities are endless with street though..

What’s your favorite spot and why? bentwood skatepark R.I.P. that place had EVERYTHING, from a cool owner to an awesome warehouse..good times.

What trick that haunts you? right now it's those stupid ass hop barspins, it's werird, cause i can do tricks that could reult in getting hurt a lot worse than doing barspins, but it's just commitment, so i should nail them soon. then there'll be another trick that pisses me off...im sure

What is your dream spot? backyard ramps like Matt Beringer's...rediculous.

Who are your favorite riders? steven hamilton, cranmer ( even though i hate how freakin good he is ), homan, delarosa, alcantara, wessel, mihelich fo sho!, everybody man, you ride a bike, you're the shiz!

What’s your favorite BMX video? Etnies Forward, Little Devil Criminal Mischief, Mean Streets,any props road fools.

When I’m not riding, I like to: Work on my ramps in the woods, film, take pics, hang out with good friends which usually leads to skating and riding, exploring old abandoned buildings.

Bands I’m into: metal right now... mastodon,slayer (christ illusion is awesome), between the buried and me.

Girls think I am: a crazy asshole,the guy with the beard, for right now.

My parents think BMX is: dad, cool when he sees me ride, stupid when he doesnt.

What is something you would change about BMX? more riders all over the place.

Do you shoot photos or video? If yes, why? both, because its amazing what you can do with pics and film nowadays, and it's such a stress reliever. i also like feeling like im giving back to bmx for what it's done for me..

What makes you learn new tricks? watching videos, and thinking about a trick until i cant stand it.

What keeps you doing your old tricks? little kids that have never seen a bmxer, then telling me to pop a wheelie and instead busting out a 360 or something and watching them go nuts haha, what i'd do to be a kid again...
