something cool to have

Rating:

The Good: 36 holes, super strong, nice design, good overall rim

The Bad: not much I can thing of right now

Overall:

When you buy a rim, all you want is a good price and a strong rim. This rim is very strong, I've been riding them for 2 season, landed sideways many times, a lot of hard impact landings, and they remained straight. Of course a hard tire and good spoke tension helped but these double walls just won't let you down.

wonderfull

Rating:

The Good: you can get them in tan walls or red or teal or white many color options, they last a long time if you don't get the foldable ones.

The Bad: not the lightest

Overall:

I really like these tires, I have them for a season now, still holding up good. i actually never had a flat with them and I ride mostly street, pretty impressive. They have a good grip but if you ride trails they might not be your first choice. Not super light, but strong and long lasting. The 110 psi max allows me to ride harder tires which makes many tricks easier and some harder but that's ok.

I've seen better but they aren't bad

Rating:

The Good: plastic, not really a shin destroyer,

The Bad: not that many pins on every side, slips from time to time

Overall:

I like these pedals, they aren't the grippiest ones but grippy enough to hold you on the bike. Can't really go wrong with plastic pedals. They are relatively strong, didn't snap on me yet after a season. The bearings aren't the smoothest but they are strong. I like it

light sporcket

Rating:

The Good: light, strong

The Bad: nothing in particular

Overall:

It's a sprocket, they allweight around the same thing, this one is a bit lighter which is good but I actually don't care. Strong enough, riding one for 2 season and nothing really happened, the teeth are used but still works. The teeth are pretty slim at a certain point to save weight so it might bend or snap. I think that could be a bad thing but if you take off the chain properly with a chain tool it's gonna be alright.

they can last

Rating:

The Good: super strong, they can last a long time

The Bad: not the smoothest bearings ever, not the lightest

Overall:

Really good bottom bracket, I've been riding it for 2 seasons and nothing bad happened as long you clean it up once in a while specially after riding dirt. The bearings are not the smoothest but if you ride street, park or dirt it really doesn't matter. Buy them if you want something that can last.

Not the worst, not the best

Rating:

The Good: super smooth bearings, strong, light

The Bad: bolts, pegless

Overall:

I like the hub, everything is good but I would like it more if it came with a real axle and nuts so that I can actually put pegs on. Other than that I would like to tell you that those bolts can be easily stripped and it's super hard to find new ones. If you're not sure that you won't ever ride with pegs, don't buy them. The axle is actually interchangeable with the other MacNeil front hub but why bother?

Not the worst, not the best

Rating:

The Good: strong, looks nice, relatively light, smooth rolling

The Bad: the bolts are shit, pegless, not loud at all

Overall:

The bearings are really smooth, can't say shit about that. The hub is strong, not loud but doesn't really matters. It's really hard to tighten it with a 6mm allen key, which is probably the biggest downside of the hub. It's actually possible to put pegs on but don't it's gonna be the sketchiest shit ever, I've already tried so if you plan to do grinds go get this hub.

Nice grips

Rating:

The Good: Soft, flangeless, nice pattern

The Bad: Bar ends are shit

Overall:

They feel good on your hands and doesn't get all sweaty in summer time, but they get worn out a little bit every time you ride. If you ride hard all day everyday, they might not last you more than 2 weeks.

Added a product review for WeThePeople ENVY V3 Frame 12/27/2012 9:12 AM

Good frame

Rating:

The Good: Nice geometry, good paint job, strong frame, easy to control in general.

The Bad: Not the lightest frame out there

Overall:

It's a frame that i really like, the chainstay is relatively short which makes it easier to manual I guess, but I'm not able to run 2.3'' tires when the back wheel is slammed. The V3 has integrated chain tensionner which is great. The integrated seat clamp actually sucks the bolt could easily get messed up but it's really easy to change so that's not a big problem. I like this frame, happy to own one.
