CREAM MAGAZINE MAKING A BOOK ON FLATLAND

Dear Flatlanders, After 8 years of Cream BMX lifestyle magazine, which has promoted flatland riding from all over the world. It's time for us to show our art to a larger audience. I would like to show the best face of flatland in a book, with beautiful photos of every rider from every part of the world, along with your experience. I need your help, your photos and your story about flatland. We have the best-of Cream since 1996 to illustrate the book. The last photo shoot will be at the Circle of Balance by Many Sanz. We are open to receive your texts and photos to share your
experience with everybody. The name of the book is FLAT KINGS. It will be in French and translated into English. I have to finish the book for the end of February 2007. Please contact me if you wish to be involved in the book. Thanks alot, Alain

Straight FLEXIN on the MAG Wheeled Flatland Machine

I spent some time putting this FLY Simple frame together with these Skyway graphite mags and it came out pretty good. Chad and Aaron think I have the bars on backwards, but nobody else has noticed. I love putting bikes together, and I hate it at the same time. When it works out, there's nothing sweeter, but when it doesn't, I scream for hours on end with the garage door shut! Someone tell Primo that their EURO bottom bracket set that came with these cranks doesn't have a L or R on either bearing, and shit's backwards to begin with threadwise! It still went together pretty easy with all things considered. Good thing I had an extra set of cups/bearings! I knew I was keeping those things for some reason. I'm ready to bust some hitchhikers on this biiiittttcccchhhhh! Straight FLEXIN!

DEW TOUR PORTLAND

I'm not really looking forward to airplane travel but another Dew Tour is here and it's time to get down to business. Not really, announcing doesn't feel like a job. When you consider the talent level the riders are at and how fun the comp can be, add in a great city such as Portland, add one Chad Degroot and one Big Island and you have the beginnings of a great party time! Not to mention a NIKE party which last year was pretty sweet! Hopefully my new bike won't cause me more pain after the initial set up. Getting used to a new bike isn't that fun but WTF!
