To say remove the thrust bearing Is to be completely ignorant to the fact that they tell you definitively Not to remove the thrust bearing on the newer KHE coasters that have them

I rode one of them in the back for a long time they're great tires but something's going on over there at Animal and with Scerbo leaving the way he did, it don't look good?? I'd rather spend my $$ somewhere else right now

Added reply in a thread Merritt Option Tires (Update) 5/27/2015 11:10 AM

You're right..of course you could grind just fine with any tire but some will handle better than others and if they're making them to hold up a little better that's great.. Really I don't know if it works or not but Mike Brennan didn't have to get involved ... more »

Check out the cult juvenile. It's a 16" and weighs about 18-19 lbs. I believe it's right there in the $400 range and prob could get 15% off at Danscomp right now. I bought the same one for my daughter. It's just like a real 20 but smaller!

Hey my bad, I don't get comment notifications so I just saw your comment. But if you're still wondering about the wedge cluster thing, it went away on its own. I guess it just needed to wear in or something cause the wedge is only sticking out a very tiny bit which is only noticeable if you're up close looking at it, unlike how it was before where you could easily see it. I never had any issue with it besides my crank bolt coming loose frequently, but some lock-tite fixed that problem & I've been problem-free since

I came across your post about the thunderbolts and the cluster showing. I actually just picked up a set of these and ran into the same thing. I was just wondering if that was ok or did you figure out how to make them seat all the are they holding up? Any info is appreciated thanks man
