Check out the cult juvenile. It's a 16" and weighs about 18-19 lbs. I believe it's right there in the $400 range and prob could get 15% off at Danscomp right now. I bought the same one for my daughter. It's just like a real 20 but smaller!

I thought all completes came with brakes..isn't it a law..I know it is in PA, but not sure about everywhere else..and besides if you really want a liberty you could just buy a set of brakes and mounts and throw them on if you wanted to

Reply to Tips for beginner at grinding 7/31/2014 9:47 AM

All really good tips here but most important is keeping your weight balanced over whatever it is your grinding on. If your hopping on and falling right off, your leaning away from it..keep your weight centered over it and you'll notice you'll start to ... more »

Gsport no doubt..cross lacing pattern makes it super stiff.. I run the roll cage on the back and it takes a beating but still hanging in there..I don't know the difference between the roll and the rib but can't go wrong with them

I don't think the specs are different just colors and the fc option is on the 15 model

Reply to Mother of fuck... WHY 7/30/2014 8:12 AM

So that's why didn't run big tires back then!! They look way too disproportionate to that frame!! Maybe it's the whole bike though!! Idk?? I'm confused..it kinda looks like a flatland bike

Reply to Hard choice 7/30/2014 8:04 AM

If you want a freecoaster complete go with the united Martinez fc if you can find it..it looks siick, smoke chrome frame camo stem, pedals and seat!! If I was looking for one right now, I'd be all over that one!! And yeah I'd hate to say it but I have ... more »

I'm 6' tall and wear 10 1/2 sneakers, my chainstays are about 13.25 and had to go with 165mm cranks when I went to four pegs. I didn't think it would've worked but it did..as long as my foot is in the middle of the pedal I'm fine..it was a little adjustment ... more »

Reply to What can't you stand? 7/29/2014 2:46 PM

Bikes that sound like they're about to fall apart, rocks in my shoes, flanged grips, setting back wheels, eating shit and oh yeah..scooters!

Reply to bb and headset 7/29/2014 11:52 AM

I don't know..I have the sunday octaves and had to cut it to run no spacers..your just gonna have to try it..and why does it have to have no spacers?? One or two is no big deal

Reply to Pegs and everything about them... 7/28/2014 4:36 PM

Yes it fits 14mm axles..female axle hubs have 14mm center axles which are just long enough to fit in the dropouts then the bolt goes into it..like I said, it'll be even easier with a male axle

Reply to will it work 7/28/2014 4:06 PM

Haha fkn trendwhore!! Lol..yeah I hear ya..if it's done for a reason that's one thing but to do it for looks would be silly..I really don't like the bars looking so big but they feel good so I guess I'm stuck with them

Reply to Pegs and everything about them... 7/28/2014 3:34 PM

No, not at all..I did it myself and I have a female axle too so it'll probably be easier with a male axle..you won't damage anything...and with a drive side guard you def don't wanna remove the driver nut so they just slide on over it

Reply to kink liberty for a rider getting back into bmx 7/28/2014 3:27 PM

Kink makes pretty solid completes..the Sexton liberty looks real nice..as far as top tube length goes, if you like to be more tight and compact, go .75-.85, if you like to be stretched out with a little more room go with 21..Sunday has out a couple nice ... more »

Yup! That's the one! I was a lot happier with that one than the primo

Reply to will it work 7/28/2014 2:23 PM

I run tens and no spacers but not because it's a trend, because it's what I like..being 6' tall, bigger bars feel so much better to me. They bring me back a bit so I'm not so forward on the bike and I don't like the look of a stack of spacers..Idk that's ... more »

I def wouldn't go with the primo dsg. I have one and it took a ton of modding to get it to fit without the chain rubbing and making noise..if you can get it, the kink dsg is way better..it's thinner where it slides behind the dropout and the open ended ... more »
