Does your chain have any lube? If it's dry or old it's probably the reason, or your bottom bracket (bearings) need cleaning and regreasing(which is unlikely)

Added reply in a thread Squeaking cranks/pedals help 6/21/2014 2:56 PM

Take your cranks apart, grease up the spindle, insert it, and grease up the crank arms aswell. Put a little bit of grease on the spindle bolts, tighten them well and then tighten the crank arm bolts. Don't overdo it with the grease. Good luck!

550$ for this bike sounds great. But if you're planning on re-selling it part by part, you probably won't make much of a profit

So today i was adjusting my seat, when i noticed there was a (quite big) crack where the seatstay and seat tube are welded together. I've had the frame since 2012, i had sent the warranty papers too so it's all covered up and stuff. But the distributor

Looks fine, and i dont feel any bump, it just hurts a bit when i press down on it... I'll go riding tomorrow, if the weather is less cold, see what's up after some days of resting.

Added reply in a thread Finger pain, help 2/5/2014 4:01 AM

Nah it's not that, it's more of a bone pain or something. I'll get rid of my ODI longneck grips, i've had them for a long time but then again it might just be the cold. I noticed wearing gloves helps a tiny bit

I don't have a doctor near me, nor can i get to one easily. Besides asking people who like the same sport sounded like a good idea, reading some opinions. Anyway thank you everyone

So recently I noticed some discomfort, regarding my fingers, which turned very quickly to pain making me unable to ride... All i could find was that maybe my grips were too thin (which aren't) or that i've just stressed my hands too much. Given that

Started new thread Rims: Anodized vs Coated? 3/27/2013 12:36 PM

I'm getting new rims probably, and i read in the specifications that some are anodized and some are coated (with varnish?). I know it is pretty much for the paint, but what are the main differences? Are anodized ones stronger with brakes? I could use ... more »

Added a product review for Stolen Cell Handlebars 10/12/2012 2:13 AM
C138_131651160_1292035237

9 months and still working

Rating:

The Good: Cheap, reasonable sizes to choose from, stronger with the crossbar being higher

The Bad: If you're a front-heavy rider, bending and cracking forks and bars i don't recommend these. I kinda bent mine (just a tad bit) and i dont give them a hard time.

Overall:

If you're a young beginner or running on a budget i recommend them, quite strong even though there are stronger bars out there.

Also they have grooves if you want to cut them, doesn't void warranty which has a lifetime of it.

Added a product review for Kink Tocco: Darryl Tocco Signature Frame 5/29/2012 11:21 PM
C138_frames_tocco_red

good frame for ramps

Rating:

The Good: intergrated chain tensioners, removable brake mounts, integrated seat clamp, strong frame, you can count on Kink's customer support

The Bad: i cracked mine in 2 years and 2 months or so, where the seat stay and seat tube are welded together. the V1 has this problem, i think the V2 doesn't. plus,a normal chain doesn't work great because of the 13.5 chainstays, you might wanna have a half link in the normal chain or a half link chain

Overall: it's very good, it's strong but i did crack it and i don't even ride street that much, but then again the crack was at a fairly insignificant spot so i'm still riding it, lol.
