Spray WD-40 or any lubricant behind the nut before you tighten it and it shouldn't move when you tighten.
My main thing is motocross so it's funny to me when people talk about BMX being expensive. Not being a dick or saying I am better than anyone, just my perspective. Skateboarding was never for me because you just cant go as fast haha.

Skateboards go slower and lower. I've never been to a park that actually enforces that rule though, but I haven't been to a ton of parks.

You sound like such a dick complaining about a fucking skatepark. Where I lived in Maryland I had to drive at least an hour just to ride a "shitty" one. Realize how good you have it man. Luckily down here in Florida there are a ton! Here is the closest
Whats good for a park that is? Not necessarily dust but its under a roof so the skatelite surface doesn't get weathered and is super slick.
What makes their materials better? As in, specifically.

If you want to change the most geometry possible you could get forks with a different offset and then add spacers to make the bars higher.

If you're only 6 inches tall you might want to look into a flick trix. I think that's about as good as you're going to get.
It's 4 hours from me but I'm definitely gunna go ride at that place on one of my trips up north!
