About Me

im ronnie remo ive been riding since 1991,im 29 so that just over 50% of my life.i mainly compete in vert but i actually ride street and mini more than i practice on vert as i haven't a decent vert ramp or many peple to ride vert with and it's lonely on the vert by yourself.i've had countless injuries and im not sure if thats cos i go for it or just cos im crap?ive currently been riding with a snapped ACL all year and torn knee cartilage.its been hard carrying a sore knee and you can't put your foot out when it goes wrong so you take it on the shoulder and head alot. i get fed up with peple saying im too old at 29 to ride bmx now and i hope to ride on like mccoy and rick moliterno till i just cant physically do it.when i started riding it was all about fun,and being with friends who really were my friends.i loved trashing myself to win a t-shirt and a new gyro in comps back in the early nineties when bmx was pure.the money around now is great and i benefit from that too but those early nineties were happy fantastic days. what a whirlwind month
well i got married in the english Lake District and went to thailand travelling afterwards for 2 weeks.awesome.im happy as larry whoever this larry fellow is??

BMFUCKINGXCELLENT!!!!!!!!!

WELL I rode for first time monday and i cant believe how happy it made me.just cruising the park and doing airs on spine and vert was amazing.

i feel like me again,like a rider.let the good times roll again.

i got my identity back. 

post knee surgery

hey well im home after my acl recon surgery and its going well,i can walk without crutches after 4 days though it is stiff and there is a little limp.

also they didnt close a wound properly so i did it myslef with needle and cotton .ha ha.its dead neat too.well i look forward to progressing back on to my bike and getting my riding back up to scratch.

KNEEASY DOES IT ON THE NHS!!

well at last i have my knee operation on march 13th to reconstruct my ACL!!

 i have waited 1 year for this op on the u.k national health service and it would have helped if the op was in the winter as i think im off the bike for 4 months +++

well least it will be mended and i will beable to ride properly from then on.

well went to estonia for the contest and had an awsome time with the u.k gang and the mirraco boys.we partied hard and all the dudes really enjoyed themselves.i'll be going back next year for sure!!you should to!

    DJ has already promised me that i can pitch my tent right next to your caravan. I was quite concerned though cause he only offered to cook me soup and feed me JD. Now it sounds like ill be getting some proper food..... i cant wait x

    Good news about the surgery, FINALLY!!!!! Can't wait to have you back on the ramp. My nan just had her knee done as well. Wonder if she'll be back riding before you?

    Hey Ronnie, good to hear from you. Yeah I miss riding with all you guys(when you can be bothered to get off your arse and ride(I dont believe that dodgy knee story)lol). Ive been riding a perfect 14ft by 40ft ramp every day in the sunshine and loving it. Tell Mark I said goodluck in Estonia. See you in June. I'll give you a lesson on how to do tuck no handers.
    Yeah I agree about the cricket. I cant think of anything more boring.

    Have fun in Estonia, tell Egor "I will break him"! And tell Webby to 9 the quarter in the comp.
    Let us know when you get back, you'll have to come and session.
    On a side note, I played a few songs at a bar last week, was fun!
