A spoke wrench is around $5.... read up on how to true wheels online, and when you try it yourself, take it slow. Make small adjustments until you get a feel for exactly what you are doing. 19 and 22 are the diameters of the crank's spindle. Profiles ... more »

More specifically... http://www.spausa.org/bikes-parks.html Also, see if you can talk to the owners of any local bike shops. See if they will be willing to help you lobby the city to open up the park.

I'm sorry..... were you abused as a child? Do you have issues, like seeking attention? Maybe you should save up and go see a shrink, it could help.

Wait until they need maintained. Then neglect to do it. Pretty soon you will HAVE to take them off, just like half of the people I know that are brakeless.

Not many people consider the fact that switching your gears around affects the chain length, and where your wheel will sit in the dropouts... there are certain combinations that work well, and some that will have you needing a half-link, or leaving you ... more »

Chains stretch hella fast with tiny cogs... and don't run as smoothly. I have an 8T and it's a pain in the ass. 30/10 FTW
Reply to I want to run a 25-12 ratio? can I? 6/3/2008 11:18 AM
DIVIDE THE FRONT CHAINRING BY THE REAR COG TO GET A GEAR RATIO 2.8 = typical gearing 2.5 or less = getting pretty spinny 3.1 or more = getting pretty hard 25/12 = 2.08 way too light

Which ones? Kenda makes several different tires. Hard packed dirt? or loose stuff? Provide some details, and your answers will be much more specific.

I don't care for the way they feel. They also suck for dirt, unless it's bone dry. They tend to load up and get slick. They are cheap, and tough though. ODY trailmix FTW

They're made IN THE SAME PLACE. The specs are practically identical. Both frames are SWEET!

You're a fool if you go around bragging about how you get parts at cost. That's a good way to lose your job at a shop.

All the parks where I live are bike friendly. There are a few a couple of hours away that don't allow bikes, but I'd say the vast majority in this state DO. Me and a friend got kicked out by some lady once, and when I asked here WHY, her only answer ... more »

There are a couple of instances where you used there instead of their in your essay. If you are handing it in at school or something, it may be a good idea to fix 'em first.

Nice work. I've posted this before, but it's worth reapeating. (more ammo) http://www.spausa.org/bikes-parks.html Bikes (BMX) and Parks Cities should always allow bikes to use the skateparks. They are building a park for recreational purposes and it ... more »
