100% not an S&M Hoder, the BTM frame didn't have brake mounts like that (Pretty sure they were removable) and S&M stamps the serial numbers on the dropouts, not the BB shell.

The only difference is the non-drive side flange is smaller and the shape of the hub is different. Other than that they are exactly the same.

Looking at it it's the v1

Sputnic. I think it's an older Skyline but I can't find a good enough photo of one to confirm.

Reply to Best cranks to buy? 11/22/2015 5:57 PM
They weren't pieces of shit, they were very stiff & strong. However, the pinch bolts & the pedal insert thing coming loose is exactly why I think they're inferior to Thunderbolts. That and I don't like them being aluminum for some reason, not ... more »

Don't worry about weight, worry about the quality & parts on the bike instead. That said, get the Fit. More chromoly in the bike (chromoly > hi-tensile steel) and everything's sealed.

I hate this rebuttal. Why buy an inferior product just because it's North American made?

Definitely either a Morning 2 or 2.1, or Night 2 Can't tell if it has an integrated race or not from the photo but if it does, then it's a Morning 2.1. Either way, they're old and surprise surprise, old parts can & will break. I've broken 2 pairs ... more »

Are you sure the specs you read were for the 2010 model? Cause I'm not seeing anything that says the hub is able to be converted. If you could post photos of the driver where the pawls & springs are, and the ratchet ring (the inside of the hub where ... more »

Sunday & Odyssey both have rust proof "black magic" coating inside their parts... Not sure how they do that though.

Hoffman hands down. Better parts, more chromoly, all sealed bearings & double wall rims.

You have to keep in mind that female bolts like that don't need to be tightened as much as you'd tighten a male axle nut because the female axle bolts have more to grab and hold tight.
