100 Hours in Europe w/ Mike Spinner

If you've ever flown from the United States to Europe, you know it's a pretty painful flight. Throw in some layovers and a big time change, and it'll take the average person at least 100 hours to get on schedule. Mike Spinner didn't have that much time to prepare - as a matter of fact, he didn't have any time at all. Spinner spent 100 hours in Europe all together and still managed to see some historical sites, ride some demos, and party into the early hours of the morning. Here's his story from the trip:
100 Hours in Europe w/ Mike SpinnerA couple of weeks ago I got invited to take a trip to Budapest, Hungary for a few days to do a few demos for Monster. It was the most packed 100 hours ever!

I flew from Miami to Rome, where I had an eight hour layover. I decided to do some exploring in the city. I took a tour of The Colosseum, which I thought was nuts. I remember when I was in school teachers talked about all of this stuff, but seeing it in person is just next level. They would throw people in a maze with animals to kill them while 100,000 people cheered for the animal. NUTS!
100 Hours in Europe w/ Mike SpinnerAfter my few hours in Rome, I flew to Budapest. I wasn't sure what to expect, but I got picked up by a few guys that worked for Monster and some hot chicks as well. This is when I found out exactly what was going on - Monster bought a warehouse and built some sick ramps in it for all of the locals to ride anytime they want. This is sweet because nobody can ride during the winter in Budapest.

Monster is distributed by Coca Cola, so the first day's demo was for all of the Coke VIPs. Afterword there was an after party which was insane. There were crazy ice sculptures and lights. Hot girls were walking around everywhere. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that I woke up at 4pm that day because I hadn't adjusted to the time change. The locals there are super good riders and awesome dudes; we partied until 5am, but I couldn't fall asleep until noon.
The next day was the same - I woke up at 5:30pm and the demo was at 9:00. This time all of the local riders I got to hang out with the night before got to ride the demo with me. It was so sick. The crowd ruled. If you did an invert they would be stoked; they all knew what was up. Almost every kid in the audience was rocking Nike 6.0 shoes so I felt right at home, hahaha.

Anyway, I stayed up all night and flew back to Miami at 7:00am. The event was sick, the locals in Budapest are cool, and Monster did it right!
