hey hbcody! , i wanted to answer a few of your questions real quick and try to refrain from being as much of a dick as poosbile to you for your ignorance listed in the post above. Snakebite really did get his bike stolen, I know this probably because I'm his roommate and good friend. He doesn't have a bike built up and I'd be lying to say we haven't tried to do it for him...but sadly we arent as wealthy and dont have a surplus of bike scraps laying around. We live in center city philadelphia, not bel air. We all kinda pinch the penny to get by around here...and we are pretty cool to him and did try to get him another bike, this is probably the reason we worked hard to put this video together so we could win him a bike. And I'm also going to share with you the kind of kid that leaves his bike unattended for 8 hours straight LOCKED. This kid works for those 8 hours so he could pay for his school tuition and works at another end of the city and usally does walk to his job and for once ran late and decided to quicken his travels by riding his bike and had some worthless shit steal it. This goes to anyone else who doubts the video.

jvozzo im not ignorant at all, i said probably has a bike built up not for sure for one, im not some rich kid from bel air either, im the exact opposite, i live in a somewhat smaller town nd i work my ass off to keep riding and going to school, it sucks to get you bike stolen, but when you live in the inner city and you lock it up for 8 hours, unattended, thats asking for it to disappear, he should of taken it in to the break room at work, or locked it in the front of the building.

also these kids put in so much work for these videos, they shed blood, racked their bodies, and got hurt doing so in the process, they put there work in to try and win this. but instead they chose the charity case, not the best video. you guys sat in a chair, and did interviews while these other people were flipping, throwing 720's on street, up railing el toro, doing crazy ass shit, just trying to win.

im not saying your friend does not deserve some sort of hook up cause it sucks to get your bike jacked, but these kids gave them what they wanted( a legit bmx video) and lost to a charity case

these kids who put in work and made some amazing videos got ripped off IMO.

I want say congrats to the winner and 10 runner ups. I watched every video and had to narrow down them many times to get my final choices. There was good riding going on in the videos and I enjoyed watching them all. For those of you who didnt make the cut, thanks for entering. For Snakebite, you guys made a kick ass video that was filmed and edited specifically for this contest and I was psyched on it. Entertaining and personal and directly geared toward this specific contest. I wish there wasnt hate about this contest. Take that shit to thecomeup

It's a VIDEO contest... good filmmaking has to count for SOMETHING, doesn't it? Snakebite's video was an excellent piece across the board: good cinematography, good editing, good lighting, compelling storytelling, the whole package. Anyone can and probably did cut together some footie and call it a video entry. Snakebite and his boys concieved and executed a grand plan, with quality final results. The rules were crystal clear: Matt Bischoff would be the judge, and he was looking for funny, different, creative, etc... not just bike riding.

I stand by Matt's choice for the winner, and we shipped Snakebite his new bike this afternoon.

Thanks again to everyone who participated in this contest. I have been amazed by the enthusiasm and support.

Well, all in all, the judging was fair. I'm upset because I didn't get anything, but there'll be more chances in the future.

Snakebite deserved the bike because he put a lot of effort into producing a great video about his bmx being stolen. He didn't win just becasuse his bmx was stolen. Ok?
Other than that, I disagree with some of the choices the Beard made (last video is entertaining, but not Bmx related and some other videos were awfully filmed), but most of the judging was alright to me.

Hope to see some more contests like this one.
