Its no big deal about the rim. Chrome looks pretty good when the flash hits it. I mean its a chrome rim, ain't nothing wrong with that.

Maybe two chrome rims would look better and balance out the silver stem and seat post.

The bike check for this giveaway is posted on the SNAFU profile. I'm sorry some of you think the color purple is part of some trendy conspiracy. We tried offering parts in one or two colors a few years ago (black, silver and gunmetal grey, some may recall), and the rest of the BMX world passed us by with everything from neon frames to plastic pedals. Product managers in this game do a delicate dance on the double-edged swords of progression and trendiness, and believe me, few of us ever win. In an effort to keep things stylish but simple, we've boiled down our anodized colors to just four in 2009: black, blue, purple and bronze. One classic, one earth tone, one old-school and one modern/trendy. Pain colors follow a similar theme: black, white, neon green, and matte purple. We're throwing in some chrome forks and bars for the BMX race set (racers love our JRI bars and UL Race fork), and you might see a red ano one some MTB and fixed-gear parts next spring. You can't please all the people all of the time, but I feel really good about the colorways we're offering, and our reasoning behind it. If we didn't have to listen to riders, we'd probably make everything black and silver, just like our friends in the MTB scene. Thanks for letting me explain our position on the color wars.
