The Dew Tour got under way for 2007 in Baltimore, Maryland, and it looks like this is going to be a great year judging by the level of riding that went down. There was incredible riding that went down on Dirt, Park, and Vert, and the Vital BMX video and over 100 BMX photos we have for you should sum the event up well. The weather in Baltimore wreaked havoc with everyone, though, especially in Dirt, and Anthony Napolitan wound up with a separated shoulder as a result.

There were some new faces making big names for themselves in Baltimore. Zack Warden blew everyone away by pulling a taiwlhip-to-tailwhip-back on Vert, and he nearly pulled a bike-flip-360 on the box jump. Dennis Enarson was the talk of the weekend and came in third on Park after pulling a perfect triple-whip and tons of other big moves. Mike Spinner couldn’t stop smiling during his runs, and with good reason. He was pulling 900s, 720-whips, 540-whips, and everything else like they were a walk in the park (he just barely cased on a 1080 and got bucked). Craig Mast is another master of the 900 who casually threw one during practice and during the comp. Steve McCann made his Vert debut at the Dew Tour and was blasting; you can tell he rides with Bestwick by his flow and height. Daniel Dhers was in effect once again and walked away with another win.

Unfortunately the entire contest was overshadowed by possibly the harshest slam in the history of BMX. Stephen Murray bailed out of a double-flip over the last set of jumps and badly hurt his neck. For more information on his injury and how you can help, click here.
