| On December 10th, we launched our first Photo Contest here on Vital BMX complete with great prizes from Haro and Premium Products. Scroll down to see the winners. |
At first we planned to simply have prizes for first through third, but after we went through all of the entries three times, we decided to change things up a bit. Our new format resulted in seven winners, and each is getting two prizes so both the photographer and the rider get something good (they can fight over who gets what). This contest proved that there are some great photographers out there—poke around the User Uploads on the Photo Homepage for proof. Click each image below for more details, and hit this to see the prizes these guys will be getting in the mail.
Scroll down to see all the winners, and thanks to everyone who entered. We will be contacting the winners shortly to roundup shipping addresses.
Joey Hill came through with a lot of great photos right at the last minute, and it paid off. This icepick in Nashville is no joke. Joey is claiming he doesn't know who the photographer is, but I bet he's going to find out now.
| Something about this rail photo just feels right. A rider (Dan Frisbee) out getting it done wherever, whenever—even posting the photo at an angle works. Good stuff. Photo by Brendan Vail |
| Sam Schlappi found a cool curved wallride in downtown Chicago, and an even cooler camera angle to go along with it. Sam said that he set the camera up and a friend pushed the button, so it will be interesting to see how the prizes get divided… Photo by Logan Behyl | |
| I’m a sucker for interesting tricks and cool lighting, and this photo of VeganRider delivers on both ends. Photo by Steve Olson. |

| Yeah, you say you don’t like crash photos, until you see something like this. Sean Logan’s tough so I’m sure he walked away in one piece. Photo by K. Fisher |
