They seem to be holding up fine so far, I've only been running them for about 4 months so It's hard to say. My only complaint is that the bottom of the fork leg is flat, and It's just low enough that it gets grinded on with double pegs. that's really only a cosmetic thing though, I'm pretty happy with them.

Thats pretty much the point of the design, to help with grinds or keep it level

well my front hub blew up the other day, so I'm running my friends old Salt wheel until I can get my new wheels. I'm pretty set on a totem/vandero2 to sun envys. also hoping to get some bigger bars soon, I'm thinking 8.5 Primo Samsquanch bars. Any thoughts?

Here's A pic of my hub, it blew out on a smith. The actual inner bearing race in the hubshell cracked inwards, causing the bearings to explode.

Right, I'm getting new wheels real soon, I've pretty much made up my mind on a totem rear and a vandero2 laced to sun envys, but I'm also considering those new(ish) Odyssey Aerospace rims now. Any thoughts?

Sun envys vs. Odyssey aerospace. go.

Don't get either IMO. Both rims don't have a cross step spoke design (one spoke hole on the left the next one on the right and so forth. Which makes the spoke triangulate with the hub better making a stronger wheel. (triangles are the strongest shape)). However the sun envy has eyletted spoke holes which make the nipple/rim junction stronger. The aerospace is super light though. I'd say jus save and get 7KAs front and back.

Change your handlebar colour!!!!

My back hub is completely fucked, it makes all kinds of scary noises and skips every other pedal, so I really need these wheels now, otherwise I'd save and get ribcages/7KAs. Thanks for the fast reply though, I might just try to find the extra $50 somewhere and get better rims.

I'm getting chrome samsquanch bars soon in 8.5"
