The Ride V6 (A tiny pic heavy?)

9/19/2013 5:47 PM

Yeah, title says it all. And there's not much to say but the stickers I have now, I'd like to keep them that way. No matter how many more stickers I try to put on, I'll just take them off later and waste them cause I like what I got. Anyways, this is my most dialed setup apart from my other setup with the tan walls and blue hubs and chrome bars. I'm done with trading at the moment and my bike is PERFECT but I do wanna upgrade my Salt parts, lol. Chain may need lube and grease from a few months and peg adapter may rattle rarely but it's totally fine! I want to run 4 hub guards but it's really hard to get some so it'll be a while. Setup is below

Odyssey Par Ends
ODI Longneck grips
Cult Leader V2 bars, 8.25" x 29.25"
Sunday Freeze TL stem
FSA Impact Pro headset
2012 Kink Liberty frame, Spanish BB
Odyssey Director S2 forks
Odyssey Chase Hawk tire, 2.4
Odyssey Vandero 2 hub laced to an Odyssey Quadrant rim with Odyssey spokes and nipples
Shadow Slimmer pivotal seat
Kink Stump seat post
Profile Slim Jim seat clamp
Eclat Slash PC pedals
Salt Pro 48-S cranks, 19mm
United BB kit
Eigthinch SD sprocket, 25t
Stolen Balland chain
Odyssey Aaron Ross tire, 2.35
Eclat Trippin rim laced to a Salt Pro Trapez hub
United Squad hub guard
All 4 DK Bundy pegs

I need to get an MDS. This is the second or third time I've hit my chain and sprocket grinding. And my crank arm by the spindle bolt just a tiny bit.

Or I could just use a cheap chain and beat the crap outta this sprocket and have a backup MDS? I dunno..

the MDS is purdy bomb... no doubt. The real question is what is your wallet telling you, realistically (I mean)

I have a local black 25t MDS in decent condition that's still not sold but I don't wanna waste money. I already have 2 sprockets for backup that are decent.

great looking bike! Why the s&m badge on head tube tho?

feeble's got a good idea on seat/grips to match your sidewalls, but w/ or w/o that it looks great hope it rides just as well

Just felt it, haha. And this setup is long gone. The tires on this bike are legitly the first pair of tires I have had brand new all the way down to near bald tread.
