Project sub $800, sub 24lb bike.

Used Tree Lil' Buddy frame - $250
Stolen "Cheater" kit off amazon - $348 shipped

Parts came in, put it together last night. Bike ended up weighing exactly 23lbs on the dot once air was in the tires.

I don't think I could be happier with it looks wise. Now I get to be the old guy that used to ride and now sucks but has a nice bike. Awesome.

The bars are so wide. I need to cut them down about an inch and a quarter on each side. That is my only gripe so far!

About the seat... Why change it? Hard to find a lime that would match lol.

And for the bars. I guess I am old school... Always ran super narrow bars (read T1 smalls). Going to give them a try, but it just feels so strange!!!

bike is sexy. and yea, that ^^^. i used to ride 23" bars, then 25", now 28". took some getting used to but all kinds of shit is way easier now with the wider bars. give it a couple weeks maybe.
